Looks like there is a good and relatively cheap high-speed train service from Berlin. So this might be an option as a base especially depending on who the other game is against. | | | |

unless, like me you want to tick the ground off.
Fly into and stay in Berlin. ICE return from Berlin Hbf booked in advance
will be reasonable enough.

There is a special offer for trains running in Germany for June, July and August. You can get a monthly ticket for just €9 which covers the whole country but doesn't work for ICE Trains....only regional. So it will take longer but you will get where you want to go. |  |

I also checked up on my local(ish) club Hampton & Richmond and a QPR XI are going there again on Saturday 23 July 2022.
