| Scott Parker on 09:17 - Aug 30 by Northernr | Well we're about to start seeing why it was such a complete pipe dream that Championship fans thought Dyche might be an option for them. Every Prem job like this that comes up he's going to be a short odds fav. |
Had to laugh last week when with the news of Alex Neill going to Stoke the discussion seamlessly switched from Dyche taking over at Stoke to him going in at Sunderland
| Scott Parker on 09:21 - Aug 30 with 2857 views | 89_50 | If I were Dyche, I'd keep my powder dry for a larger and more lucrative job. You'd imagine Villa and/or Everton will be available by the time the World Cup comes around. | | | |

It happens to people who've had to spend more than ten minutes watching one of his teams play.

Is it just that? I mean, I agree - just wobdering if there was something else as well that I'd forgotten.

Yeh I think it's just his utter embrace of all the shithouse tactics at once. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

it is a good point Brian... I think its a number of things ex chels, fulham and wham is a good start. Plus QPR tried to sign him immediately after Tony F purchased QPR... but he rejected the offer.
| Scott Parker on 10:05 - Aug 30 with 2467 views | denhamhoop2 | Classic case of very good player awful manager he made Alex Neill look like a purist in terms of his Bournemouth team trying to waste 89 minutes in Playoff second leg defeat at Brentford. Then throw in in spite of having maybe the best squad in the division last year was allowed to bring in 6 very expensive loan signings and yet grinding their way to promotion. Bit harsh though considering their 3 defeats are against Arsenal Man City and Liverpool which surely no one but the most optimistic Bournemouth fan would expect anything out of points wise | | | |
| Scott Parker on 10:18 - Aug 30 with 2371 views | James_Paddocks | Essentially, he's been sacked for slagging the board off after Saturday's horror show. Athletic journalists rushing to his defence already, which is fcking nauseating. | | | |

I daresay that Parker may have tried it as well but trying to shithouse for 89 minutes in the playoff semi was down to Jonathan Woodgate. He took over in the summer following that.

| Scott Parker on 08:56 - Aug 30 by Northernr | Another manager for whom the be all and end all, plans a, b, c and d, is - I need six more signings or we're fcked. I'd be tired of it too if I was Bournemouth. |
He learnt well at the feet of his royal 'arryness.

| Scott Parker on 10:37 - Aug 30 with 2221 views | MrSheen | Does the owner have any sanctions trouble? May explain the lack of transfer activity. Otherwise they are precisely the type of team who would take a punt on WIllock. 11,000 crowds won't keep them in the top division for long. | | | |

| Scott Parker on 11:01 - Aug 30 with 2113 views | slmrstid | They'll probably all have to spend £10m soon just to turn the floodlights on so that might squeeze transfer budgets a bit... | | | |

Signings signings signings signings. It's a shame the actual football games have to get in the way really.

This is why I'm not a fan, he's always well funded as a manager, achieves reasonable results and is then held up as some sort of genius by the press. Perhaps the owners of Bournemouth felt that they had already invested significant amounts of money last season to help him get promoted so didn't need to re-build the whole squad again. I image less expensively arranged clubs are going to go to Liverpool and not lose so comprehensively.
