I thought he was superb before he cramped up from exhaustion plus he got a bit of punshiment from Watford
Some of his crosses did not beat the first man but he provide 2 moments of magic chasing down lost causes and crossing .

Thought both Drewe and Kakay were outstanding today. Hardly put a foot wrong and both totally bossed their opposite numbers in the first half. Kakay again provided some great crosses. Big shout for Dunne and Dickie also. Both were commanding, anticipating balls to their opponents and intercepting regularly. Nothing got passed them and Dieng really did have a quiet match. | |

Martin was captain and think from having heard him being interviewed think that was a good decision And when Johansen came on he got passed armband from Martin.

What did it for me was that couple of times in the first half where the full back for Watford was seeing it out, all looks lost and then out of nowhere Drewe has hassled the ball and managed to get the ball across. Its that same determination that we saw in those old clips of his determined goal line clearances. Plays at 100mph and thats not a bad thing at the moment, left everything he had on the pitch today when he came off |  |

Something that hasn't been mentioned so far; Drewe was very vocal towards teammates when he felt there were things that should have been done better. A noticeable one was a long throw from them took out 3 defenders and once the danger was gone he was over in a shot giving out to them about concentrating I presume. He could be the next Ian Dawes for us. I would have given him MOTM but I think Kakay deserved that today, he was almost unplayable at times and recovered well from last weeks nightmare. |  |

I was in Weymouth for a bit last year and got along to see Drewe a couple of times. He looked solid enough without being an obvious standout in a very poor Weymouth side that got relegated to National League South. I did wonder if he would be able to step up but I thought he was outstanding today and I echo the point that he is not scared to tell more experienced players where they should be and what they should be doing. I thought he was our MOM but others who were there said Ossie was better.
Field was in the wars all day and got a blow to the head (unpunished shocking I know)but if there is a dirty ball to be won he is not pulling out .
