I know it was the excitement of the moment but I never got that "from the very brink of elimination" remark. Had we not scored we'd have gone to 30 mins ET (then maybe pens), we would not have been eliminated had we not scored in the last minute.

Know what you mean but suppose in the context of the game at that point, we were down to 10 men, under the cosh and it mostly felt like "when" not "if" Derby would score. They certainly had a lot more chances than we did that day!

Up until the sending off, they had one shot on goal. They were the better team, just, but hardly battered us. After the sending off it was a bit more backs to the wall but they had I think 4 shots on target though it probably felt like more at the time!
They had 16 shots on goal to our 11.
