I took my son there to see Bristol City at Blues the other night. Blues spent most of the game playing a 'low block' camped out of the edge of their box. Could have understood such a negative approach if they were playing Man City, but difficult to justify against a mid-table Championship side. A very dull 0-0. Highlight of the game was the bizarrely OTT laser/light/firework show just before kick-off, which was immediately followed by a dogsh it game played out in near total silence.

Chatting with Blues mates before the game, all really down about things, but convinced Rooney would be gone if they didn't get anything in their next couple of games. Maybe they could Eustace back - they looked a good side down at Ashton Gate under him.
