I visited Dave at Bolton hospital yesterday morning and can confirm his sense of humour is very much intact.
He has certainly been through the mill in the last few days but is now hopefully on the road to recovery.
However I'm not sure if he was more pleased to see me or the charger that I had taken for his iphone 😁

Very fortunate to have spent time with Dave along with the rest of the Manc Rs back in the 90s. It never ceases to amaze me how he seems to remember the names of hundreds of people.

The measure of the man, was how long it took me to persuade him to be the subject of an article in AKUTRS. Magnanimous and understated doesn't come close to describe this utter legend of QPR.
