I have made friends for life on this forum. And i thank northern for it.
More than association football. Even More than QPR.
I had a chat with a member tonight that meant the world to me, totally out of the blue.
Never would have known him without this dojo, this place.
We've had our discord in the past, but i Thank you Northern. We appreciate it. More than football. It's beyond that. A labour of love for you, a plasma pool of brotherhood for us.
Thank you. Thank you,

Don't need no politicians to tell me things I shouldn't be,
Neither no opticians to tell me what I oughta see.

It makes me realise sometimes I am a bit of a numpty on occasions, and like most on here I haven't a clue what I am talking about but it's a great resource and even if I don't know people personally, it's a nice place to talk a load of old nonsense and saves me having to watch Eastenders and Big Brother with my full attention- not my chosen programmes of choice !!!!
For those reasons alone, it's a good thing, loftforwords exists !!!!
For all the sundry NA and AA meetings in grey church halls in bleak provincial towns chaired by men in double denim and tweed , nothing can top a surprise call from a fellow R to arrest the downslope. bonded by blue and white blood.

That doesn't mean that anything goes. The one major thing you have to remember...is that the man next to you is your brother, and you'd damn well better treat each other that way because if you don't, then we blow the whole thing, but we've got it right there”.

As with Colin this is the only social media I do. I have Instagram but barely log in. Never failed to be impressed by people’s knowledge on here of all things, but especially football and QPR. The finances, in depth tactics, club history ,in the main the camaraderie and of course Clive’s amazing writing. I was a very long time lurker before I ever posted on here but it’s such a great place to come to chew the fat about our amazing but bonkers football club which is one of my favourite pastimes, that I’m glad I did in the end .

Great post Disco. I've also made some great friends on here, mostly miserable f**ckers about QPR admittedly, but really top lads who have provided many great laughs over the years.
Long may it continue.

The sun is shining and all is well with the world. I’m going round singing “it’s a Wonderful World” with my Louis Armstrong voice. Cheers everyone and long may we continue our civilised conversation and passionate rants
Strong and stable my arse.
