A universally liked signing from the look of things - we’ve moved into more satisfying markets after a couple of seasons operating like Del Boy. The type of forward we need, a good age, seems hungry to succeed….what’s not to like? Only slight concern is where it leaves Burrell who looked decent last night but as Kevin Gallen always says, you need 4 forwards to be successful and we have that now. Exciting times. Well if Saito is coming back as well then I think there's probably a discussion to be had about Kolli.
He needed to get a pre-season into himself, he hasn't done that.
He needs to get 30 games into himself this year, that's not going to happen here with those two signings.
Once again last night, clearly unfit. Spent more time in the second half doing hamstring stretches than he did upright.
Kone first striker, Burrell second, Frey third, you'd assume Celar is going, is this an opportunity to get a half season loan into Rayan? |

Looking at the analytics clips, I feel like 2 up top with Burrell pressing and feeding, and Kone mopping up could absolutely cook.

Apologies. Fat fingers. Meant to up vote. Completely agree. We are most well stocked with wingers/wide forwards out of all the positions, so surely we are not going to a formation without them!
It’ll be 4231/4141. Perhaps if we’re chasing games we might go 442.
I’d expect Kone to be the starter, Burrell to play against teams who play a high line and come on for the last 20 if the oppo is pushing up. Equally, expect Frey to play against sides who sit very deep or who are defending leads and under the cosh.
