Ronnie Edwards again nowhere to be seen in the Southampton squad today. Really coming to us?

Started ok, bit scrappy, but became a bit of a bore after 25mins.

Bitty performance. Spells where we're in control, spells where they're pressuring us.

Well that was a waste of 45 minutes

Odd 45 that.

No quality in the final third. Smyth very quiet.

Thanks Ref, time to get the Kettle on!

Just seen that Paul Smyth has signed again, I for one am very pleased with that.

Not great but still better than the turgid spooge served up against WBA.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Can tell you this is not exactly getting the blood racing and it's pretty nippy

We certainly haven't hit the same heights as the Leicester game... but 3rd game in 7 days so it is to be expected... even with 8 changes

Norwich are closing down and are quite pretty in build up... but the final 3rd they are shocking... thankfully

Real positive for me is Hayden... having a really decent game, as is Cook

Would be nice if we could nick a win...

Dull.
Sort it out Rangers. Norwich are pony.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Kone superb this half. Won every 50:50 and held it up well. Hayden also good.

Half time anylasis, both teams are there for the taking but my money is on Norwich. QPR look like they peaked against Leicester.

We cannot play 3 poor games in a row since that stunning performance can we ?. Our players never seem truly ready to rip the door hinges the dressing room coming out to maul anymore maybe its just the modern game . Under Marti we had shocking bad first halves its seems like more of the same under JS

Not playing nearly as bad as the last couple of aways but that was a boring half

Shit but local

Not too unhappy - plenty of effort.
Wonder what changes after the usual 60 mins.

The Norwich defense are putting on an exhibition of the dark arts. The ref is keen to let play flow, which is admirable. Either that, or he isn't seeing what's going on!

Yes it was an underwhelmingly exciting half. Wouldn't be surprised if we are heading for a
0-0.

It'll take some steering to get the great ship QPR-Norwich off course for a 0-0 currently

Shit but local

Smyth is not a left winger. No link up with RND either. Saito to come on early please.
Just that final pass/ball is missing. Bitty game. Pitch is awful, getting worse.

Smells like a trout farm in here

I think, if anything, they've had more cohesion than us - have shaded possession, and got into better positions. Smyth has been a passenger, and Kone + Burrell haven't gelled, albeit it with slim pickings. Hayden doing decently, but midfield underwhelming, with our one man disadvantage. Plenty of huff and puff, but no one blowing anyone away, including me. Looks likely one goal might do it for two mediocre teams.

Low quality first half, good effort though.

I tihnk if we just show a bit more composure in the final 3rd the game is there for us.

Feels like Smyth is trying a bit too hard the few times he has got the ball, but defensively doing a great job. Dembele good movement and runs but no end product at all, and less good defensively.

Burrell and Kone linking well.

Apply ourselves 2nd half and we should be good, so we will likely concede 1 minute after KO!

Regarding the pitch, I’m a few rows back in Ellerslie which is not where I usually sit so I have a real good view of it and it’s so so bad. It’s practically bald in places and just looks lumpy

In a low quality game my concern is that we look the more prone to making the error that leads to the game's only goal...
