FIFA have changed the international break dates for next season so that there will be no Prem or Championship matches over the Easter weekend. Also as soon as we get underway with the season there will be a break from September 19 to October 10 for a double international break. Bloody stupid, means virtually two preseason build ups.

Utter clowns. But then, if people continue to pay money for FIFA events, then this is what you'll get, so they can't moan!!

I really hope their jamboree in a few months is a total farce, an utter fiasco, and a complete embarrassment for him and Mango. Not that Infantile won't be there sucking Trumpet off as Mango spouts, 'They tell me its been the bestest and most greatest World Cup ever. Totally great.'

We’ll need that early break for the first six injured players to recover.

Given what's going on I can see a number of sides pulling out of the World Cup.

To be honest, I am over this fcking World Cup before it has begun. Russia, then Qatar and now this unending shitshow? Where next Gianni? Fcking Mordor?

Friendlies in the Middle East will be out of the question whilst everyone's lobbing missiles at each other. No doubt lots of summer holidays to Dubai being cancelled right now too!

I actually think this is better, rather than stopping iN September then again in October you get 2 months for league football then a quick break then a long run to the next break.

They have also moved the League Cup 1st round to the Saturday before the season starts which again is a good move and better than more friendlies

Tell me about it!

Big trip planned for my 60th. We're supposed to be transiting through Dubai for a few days en route to Japan/Asia, and then transiting back through UAE on the homeward. We're away for five weeks, so have booked lots of stuff over the last six months: other flights/trains, hotels and events, and some friends coming to meet us along the way. Right now, it is an effing mare, only surpassed by the QPR injury room, of course...need perspective at such times.

Thanks Donald, you orange ctn! FIFA Peace Prize my backside...is Infantile going to ask for it back?

It's three weekends without league football when the pitches are at their best, the weather is perfect for football, the players are at their fittest and, crucially, one of the Saturdays is my birthday. It's a shtshow.

you would have 2 weekends without football the old way, (start of September & October), this new way is the same number of weekends you miss they are just doing it at the same time rather than 2 chunks.

Given they've pulled out of several UN agencies and threatening the same with NATO, once Trumpet realises that 'world' actually means other countries and not their baseball teams, I could see the US pull out of it!

Thank God we won the Ryder Cup!!

Three long weeks without QPR, just as we sit proudly in first place, our promotion-form cruelly paused in full flow...

And just so England can play Nations League games. England playing a closed doors game away at Croatia in the Nations League is no substitute for a Saturday birthday QPR away day at, dunno, Lincoln or Forest is it.

Please. I'm old. Let's just leave things as they are.

Knowing our luck, we'll come flying out of the blocks for the first time since 2010.

I loathed international breaks as it was, but this is beyond belief.

Suffering since 1978.
