Delighted for the result and the 3 braces but my god that was a poor showing in midfield and defence today. I don't like it when we sit back at home and let teams come onto us like that. It somehow worked today but a better side would have crucified us.

I'm not too worried about the the match stats. They often get slightly warped when a team goes a few goals ahead early in the game. I'd imagine the stats looked very different after 30 mins when we went 3 up. Excellent first goal by Smyth and the second wasn't too shabby either a clear mom for me. Glad that Kone got his goals at the end and funny enough I had a feeling Kolli would score today. Are we world beaters because we won 6-1 v Portsmouth of course not.

Hayden was having to console him at the end, helped him off the pitch. He was also in front of the Pompey fans asking them to lay off the abuse at the end. They had applauded him off when he was subbed.
