Really enjoyed Steve Cook wearing the B&W, and cannot help feel that if he'd have come here when we were first after him under Warbs, some things might have been different.
As a club, we really have had a history of getting some quality mileage out of guys at the end of their careers, going back to the early 70s when I first started following this shower. Cookie has been one of them.
Such a shame the crowd will be paltry tonight because of the tube strike, but he's never let us down and always been a rock of sorts. If there is a footballing God, then it's an overhead winner from him.
