I have been trying not to think about it, although I have been constantly asked at work about the game but said I do not want to think about it until Friday!
I do think why not us? Why can't we win? We have beaten much better teams than York in cup games. I have been having visions of a Henderson fairy tail ending to his career with him scoring the winner or a late goal to put it to bed.

Peacefull and relaxed. My only fear about tomorrow is the team not turning up on the day and wasting a once in a lifetime opportunity.The start will be vital and so will the performances of the spine of the team..Watmuf, EEL, Gilmore, Mani. 3-2 Dale win. If we lose then lets make it a half decent performance.

Dreading it to be honest. It shouldn't be like this but Dale disappointments are ingrained unfortunately. As much as I want to believe EEL will be lifting the Trophy around 3pm tomorrow I just know deep down its not going to happen. I will support them and sing my heart out as always.

I am quite relaxed. What will be will be. The club has underplayed this fixture all week really. In days gone by we'd have seen our inboxes flooded with stuff, merchandising deals, scarves, flags, to buy. Special pre match food offers. You name it we'd have been doing it. So maybe the low key approach this week will do the trick. There hasn't even been a ticket frenzy given the game was sold out weeks ago.
And lets be honest most of the York fans will miss the game - they'll be stuck in the queue from Sandbrook Park waiting for the campervan to turn right at the Cemetery Hotel. Whatever you do tomorrow, avoid Roch Valley Way.

I’m over in Fleetwood, the number of people who have asked me about Saturday and wanted to talk about it is unbelievable Up the dale
It’s surprising how many non-football fans are interested and have asked about it over the week.
I feel a lot more comfortable about it going into the game in second place and needing to win. Don’t think it would be the same if we were top and a draw being enough.
Also, that winner at Braintree was much better than a 3-0 win with everyone flying I think. The psychological impact on York and the belief it will give us is probably worth much more.

They changed the kick off time before Christmas, it hasn't just happened.
Maestro? No.
Elite? No.
Heavyweight poster? No.
Able to be rational and not over-react to individual results? Yes.

Very relaxed. Can't do anything to change what happens on Saturday and worrying about it doesn't help. Had other things to think about / deal with as well. The interest in the game from people all round the town is great. The pubs showing the game will be rammed. But, it is about converting that interest into regular bums on seats instead of mere glory hunters. RAFC hasn't been good at doing that in the past. Now is the time. UP THE DALE!
