I do think it may be what we are lacking - one talisman who can just win you games out of nowhere. Our squad is very good on the whole but I don’t think we have anyone who could lace Adel’s boots and be a match winner 15 times a season

Very good goal but no way goal of the season - opportunistic, yes, but just one where you try it and it comes off. Give me percentages anytime.

Additionally, he doesn't half seem to milk it.

I took my son to the game and we had a perfect view of the goal - he absolutely meant it. Yeah, 999/1000 times that's not coming off, but it wasn't a case of sticking a leg out and hoping. I think you're allowed to be pretty pleased with yourself when you're a young lad and you score your first goal for your new club with a back heeled volley from in line with the penalty spot, almost in the top corner, in the 85th minute, in front of your supporters! I would still be running round celebrating now!

Me too. It's a quality goal, he absolutely meant it, and it's fully deserving of an OTT celebration.

There were no percentages in Sinclair's Greatest Goal Ever Scored. It was just one where he tried it and it came off. Still The Greatest Goal Ever Scored. And he milked it.
