Just been Reading the QPR kit book.... bloody brilliant.
Obviously this year's MR Q one looks really aesthetically bad.
And well Guinness was a legendary kit and sponsor.
But what's everyone else's second favourite shirt sponsor?
I'll go with 2.
Brooks for nostalgia and convivia for actually a nicely designed logo in connection with the shirt designs [Post edited 20 Sep 20:10]

It’s a shame the Gulf Air kit for the Championship winning side was blighted with the Briatore monstrosity of a club badge. If it wasn’t for that, it’d be right up there with the classics. I thought all three kits that season were great, were it not for that badge. |  | | |

I can't get excited about shirt sponsors. I think the whole idea is horrible.
But, seeing as we're stuck with them, I agree with Spaceman and Westway that these two weren't as intrusive as others.

While thinking about Irish painters, I found this. By Maria Dorothy Webb. 'Girl in an Orchard'.
I'm not huge on visual arts, and I wish I was, but I like this a lot, and may heist it if I can get a likely LFW crew together.
I'll need:
1) The Brains (arrogantly, I thought this was going to be me, but then I realised that I was posting the entire plan on the internet, so, ya, probably best we hand this over to Nix).
2) The Wheels (I can't drive well anymore)
3) The Hacker (I was never good at tech)
4) The Muscle (ok, that used to be me, but I'm old now, but, please, just look mean and wear the big shades and big suit, no violence ok)
5) The Banker (again, I haven't much money right now).

I agree. I liked that shirt and some others too, but refused to buy them because of that vanity badge Briatore.
Fly KLM sponsorship was very good as well as the shirts. I still have those, and thankfully, can still wear them today, due to the quality materials used for the shirts and logos.
Of course, the Guinness and Adidas shirts will always have a special place in many fans hearts. | | | |

I have the kits book too, love it.
We have had some massive corporate brands as sponsors - Guinness, Compaq, Ericsson, KLM, Gulf Air and Malaysia Airlines.
Then had some mid tier ones JD Sports, Classic FM, Brooks and Air Asia.
Then some lesser brands - Influence Leisure, Blue Star, Binatone, CSF
Some proper crap too (Gambling), but I am not listing them.
I dont think any other club has had so many sponsors who have gone bankrupt.
To answer the question.....
Compaq and Ericsson after Guinness
Dryworld all of their kits bang on that year, yes, I even like the Frazzle kit and loved the baby blue and black strip.
Convivia looked great as a logo.
Le Coq did a decent job of designing kits for us.
As a kid, I loved the influence kits.
Nike were the worst we have ever had.
If I could pick a remake of an away kit.....either 1995 blue compaq away kit or 2021 red and white halves.

You just copy and paste (or type) the link into the text box. The link must start with http:// and mustn't have any other text immediately before or after it. To get the link, one way may be to click the image with the right mouse button and selecting 'Copy image location', 'Copy image address', 'Copy image url' or similar, depending on your browser. Make sure that no other text is immediately before or after it, and the image link must end in 'jpg', 'gif', or 'png' for the site to recognise that the link is an image.
For example, if you were to post  it would automatically make that into the image shown to the right.

Yes, agreed, I have a dark blue goalkeeper's training top from then - long sleeved with white trim - and it looks great. Pity I got oil on the white cuffs  .

Classic FM was a cool sponsor, but I wasn’t so keen on the kit, the blue was too light. Brooks was another cool sponsor. The reissue looks great but the material feels horrible!
I really liked ‘Holland fly KML’. The kit is probably my favourite, such a clean design. I also like how there are different version with sponsor in varying sizes. I’ve been so tempted to buy a knock off version.
Compaq has special place in my heart as it was my first QPR kit. |  | | |
