Could go one of 3 ways this one.

Be happy with a/some draw.

Poll: MOM from todays Teasing at Teesside?

Mad game and a bit of a microcosm of everything we know about this team.

Started out so controlled and comfortable. Really good on the ball, well drilled and set up off it.

Take the lead fortuitously but can't get a second goal through a few half chances - Kolli's shot in first half and Smyth's burst into the box in the second.

Two of our best players taken off, presumably for 'loading' reasons, and West Ham finally get a foothold in the game. Then we go to sh*t a little bit and of course the injuries - always the injuries - mean we're playing with 9 men by the end.

Bloody brilliant from Charles, take a bow mate.

Another draw that feels like a win, same as Preston. But we've actually only picked up four points from the last five games with no wins in that time.

Still, excellent character from the group again that will build belief and we'd all have taken a point before KO.

Follow this game up with a win on Derby and this will be an even better point.

Whats Kolli playing like?

One decent effort saved. Not much else and lost the ball too often.

Great result and fully deserved but a couple of things about Bowen. As said already it was a foul on Vale and probably more than a foul, went straight through the back of him and didn’t look like he was in control. Secondly, blood coming from his nose for about 10 minutes? Surely the rule is when there is blood you have to come off and get it seen to? Ref just didn’t seem to want to make the decisions that he needed to.

Hes so out of his depth at this level it's embarrassing. 3rd time I've sent him this season and not fit for purpose.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

No matter what way we look at it, we hung on by the skin of our teeth for a point.
We were comfortably in front of a very lacklustre West Ham side, then the subs started coming on, and abracadabra, pffft, we turned into bloody Burnley, and very nearly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Coaches have to learn not to take their best players off, unless they are down on all fours crying their eyes out. Keep them on for as long as humanly possible.

Fair play my team.

I’m sort of gutted post game not to have won but if offered a draw before the game I’d of chewed your hand off at the wrist.

My God that Kamara is a player - love it.
Smythy is a heartbeat
Charles what a keeper even if he looks 12 years old

However….
Mbengue proves time after time he’ll cost us more points than he wins - an absolute clown of a player.
Vale is so, so weak. He’s totally at fault for the equaliser as he left Bowen with the whole of the pitch after screaming like a bitch over the tackle (watch it back)
I’m sort of down with JS with his subs but after another beer I get it…. Can see why he stuck to pre planned changes. The injury situation is just an absolute farce!!!

The frustrating thing is the boy Kemper had Bowen in his bloody pocket all game..

What a great game to watch , 1st half we looked like an autos team.

Kone reminded me of Austin when he came back for a 2nd stint. Without banging them in its playing with 10 men, hope he can turn it round

After looking so comfortable for much of the game it was annoying we couldn't get the second goal. Unfortunately we have been more often than not, plagued by injuries and this often results that when we make subs we actually get worse. We have had this problem for years that our subs weaken us. In the end we could have lost so I guess it was no surprise we once again don't win away in London.

Still the drama at the end made it a pleasing draw as we deserved something from the game. We also have to look at West Ham's recent home games where they put 4 past Wolves and 6 against Wrexham so the boys did well to concede only once.

Fair observation on points collected and not hat is a concern

Pick up another 5 points this month though and I’ll be happy enough

Pick up another 3 or 4 injuries and I won’t!!!

Really think we missed Burrell tonight.
He’s such an out ball and would’ve allowed us to stretch them a bit more. Kolli did some bits but still looks way off the level, personally gutted about that as I’m 100% in Camp Kolli.

Tomorrow I’m going to wake up and focus on the French man talking about standards during the week, the squad delivering them match day and the undoubted spirit in the camp. That is proper proper heartwarming

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Shame Lloyd wasn't available.

That last 20 minutes ideal for his brand of chaos.

Obviously delighted with a point. Was convinced Bowen would bury that.

However, we need to be more ruthless. They were there for the taking and until the subs in the second half we were on top. Smyth and Kolli were both excellent but once they went off the game changed. Vale is the most frustrating player we have at the moment - like night and day in terms of contribution compared with Smyth, while Kone needs to use his strength more. That time he was shoulder barged off the ball was pretty bad.

Great as Lamptey was against Cardiff (?), the gamble looks worse with every game.

Overall though, got to be happy with that point, courtesy of our wonderful keeper. Now let's be ruthless on Wednesday and back this result up.

I would have been mega p1ssed off if we lost that game tonight. Nuno in his post match saying only one team deserved to win the game, no 'effin way pal! Even the interviewer had to ask him to confirm that he was talking about West Ham!

Sure we got lucky with the pen but then West Ham got lucky as we made substitutions and ended up with walking wounded. For the first seventy minutes we had West Ham under control.

Smyth and Kemper kept Bowen quiet but then Smyth went off, one knock too many I think, a huge miss. Kemper was subbed and literally a minute later Lamptey lets Bowen come inside and take the shot.

This for me is the big decision, taking Kemper off. Post match Julien talks about subbing Kemper with future matches in mind but Julien we are winning this game. I get the feeling Kemper could have played those last twenty minutes, first game back I know but he is a strong lad.

Madness from Mbengue at the end. Bowen's penalty wasn't great but Charles still had to make the save and the second save was world class.

A thoroughly deserved point. Once again this squad has shown us what they are capable of. Keeping the promotion favourites under control on their home turf and then digging deep, showing character and strength to see the game through.

I just hope that come May we are not left wondering what might have been if we had been able to keep the the squad fit and available. Anything is possible if we can keep everyone on the pitch.

How the hell did Wrexham lose 6-0 to them? I was surprised how poor they were, particularly in the first half.

Taking Smyth off for Vale weakened us more

If a change was needed there then I’d of gone with young Scarlett as the swap
I’m done with Vale

Where I was sitting (the home end by the way) I feel like people.are being a little harsh on Vale. He was brought on to replace Smyth but five minutes after coming on Lampety picked up a knock and suddenly Vale was up against Bowen..Shame as the Bowen Vs Lampety match up had me excited to watch.

Lampety then weirdly ended up.playing further up.the pitch in the middle almost as a number 10 despite not being able to run at all and Vale was left to pick up the pieces. Feel sorry for him really as wasn't his natural position.

Hated having to keep quiet when we scored the penalty and fake a celebration when they scored their goal. Loved the double save at the end though and all I could hear from then on till full time was the away support 👏👏

Well there you go, a super well organised outfit is our QPR. Enjoyed that tonight in the away end. We can compete with the big boys, good to see Kolli out there as well. Pierce Charles super stuff from him and that Madsen penalty, cool as anything. Keep your diaries free for late May we could be in the mix.

Would agree on Smyth but like I said I think he had taken enough punishment, you could see him grimacing after he came off.
