Lucky you lot, for the first game back we've got a little giveaway for you.
Booked - The Gospel According to our Football Heroes
Incredibly funny book piecing together the best stories from 120 footballer autobiographies to build up a picture of the psyche and make-up of the lads we worship and hate from week to week. Don't worry, we make it to at least chapter three before Sam Allardyce gets his old chap out. If you want to know which footballers have reached the gold standard of a meeting with Rod Stewart then this is the book for you.
Amazon review and availability is here...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Booke
... but as one of the authors Dan Trelfer is a QPR fan (and may or may not post on here, ahem) we've got a copy to give away! Actually, we had two copies to give away, but I took one on holiday with me to read and it's now in a sort of beside-the-swimming-pool way, So we've got a copy to give away!
To win this golden reading material for your lockdown simply reply below with the time of the first QPR goal on Saturday. That's it.*
* That's not it actually. Quick points...
- Don't pick the same minute as anybody else. If you do we'll take the first person's minute. Or we'll send you the swimming pool copy.
- Whole minutes only, no halves and seconds.
- If one of you goes 26 and one of you goes 28 and it's scored on 27, we'll take the smaller time (26)
- Times taken from the BBC website.
- If QPR don't score we'll take the time of the first Barnsley goal, then the time of the first QPR corner, then the time of the first Barnsley corner, and if none of that happens then none of you are getting a fcking book.
- If you want to do first half stoppage time then do it 45+1, 45+2, 45+3 etc.
