I have great memories of Mark Kennedy back in 98. was gutted he signed permanently for Wimbledon.
Jojo last year has probably claimed nomination too.

Lee Cook has to be up there, along with Lee Camp, both had enormous impacts.

We need Robith to come up with an algorithm to resolve this. League position beforehand, league position afterwards, minutes played, assists, all that stuff.
Kyle Walker might well win it depending what he puts into his statistical stew and that would be fair enough.
The Lee Cook loan has a lot of sentimentality about it though, and his later financial gesture. Lee Camp too, even the Kevin McLeod one. There's something to be said for some of the loans we got in at times when we were battling against the odds.

Very strange that one, didn't we sign him on loan and then he didn't play for ages? Once 'arry finally selected him it turned out he was rather good?
For me it has to be Walker, was a joy to behold that season. You just knew he'd make it in the big leagues, and it was great to have him with us even for that relatively short period of time. [Post edited 26 Jan 2022 14:35]
