Genuinely gutted about this.
I know he's done the square root of F all since he left but, as I've said before, sometimes a club and a player are just right for each other. Really think he'd of kicked on again if he'd "come home".
Even Freeman performing at 65% of how he did would fill me with more confidence than other options we currently have in the middle of the park bar Willock & Chair.

What it does show is that Luton don't have a massive budget and if they want a play maker they have to take a risk on players like Freeman who may be Freeman of old or past it.
A risk, but what can Luton do in such a market with little budget. Same as us really. |  |

Freeman was a good player for us in a bang average team at the time and we seemed to make a decent profit on him. If he can get fit expect him to do well at Luton, he always looked a bit out of shape/sorts to me when he was at Sheff Utd and Forest. |  | | |
