Can't see how 442 or long-ball would work for us either in terms of getting the best out of our current squad or out of turning them into cold, hard cash. But then he also talks in his offy interview about not having a set formation and about attacking and front-foot football. So, I guess it's a matter of wait-and-see here. It feels like he has the attributes as he doesn't stop running, will challenge, can surge forward, distribute and shoot. Size remains the issue of course/ Seem to remember he did away at Preston where we were terrible but he absolutely ran the show for 30 mins of the second half and scored the equaliser.

Yes in was thinking that. IF (neon flashing lights) we take that literally we'll be playing with about 7 wide players!

Doesn't talk as much as Beale but basically did exact same thing to them as Beale did to us, ie said he understood and related to working class ethics of Blackpool and then left without saying a thing. Hope it works out but am not expecting much more than mid table mediocrity.

I get that they are annoyed but he gave them more than two complete seasons, achieved and then consolidated a promotion and left in the close season. He may have thought that's as good as it gets, especially having sold Bowler. No where near the level of disruption caused at Loftus Road. My impression of him so far is that he isn't one to talk to the media unless he has to unlike Sevco's new manager.

Critchley has been proven correct. Bowler sold off, one of the few players who could keep'em up and now they are 2nd from the bottom and will probably be relegated.
