A couple of poor results (P'boro & Barnsley) should not detract from what a great team Warburton has assembled on a shoe-string.

If we do not sell out a 2k allocation at Millwall for this team (having previously sold 4k for some absolutely rubbish previous versions of this team) then maybe the support base should take a long look at themselves rather than criticizing the players and manager.

I get so many of our supporters now live outside London and getting back into town midweek is grief, but, if you live anywhere on the Tube Map or within 1 hours travel to The Den, get yourself down there.

If I hear one more Rangers fan saying 'I don't want to be held in for 15 minutes' just put this in context in that the station is next to the ground and you're not walking 15 minutes to the station!

I reckon a lot of people don't fancy it because of Millwall's reputation.

No trouble there for years and we took a lot more fans when it was a lot more hostile.

Yes, but I am passed all that pathetic nonsense these days, so Barnsley is OK, 'cis win, lose or draw, I can keep away from it all, but I am not going there.

I have been at P' Boro (twice) and Barnsley. I have not got the stomach for a visit to the 'wall; just not worth it. If that makes we fair weather, so be it.

Not going to Lootown either...

Can we go out yet?

Held in for 15 minutes if only lucky to get back to London Bridge for 11 pm but in spite of that I will be there

Got my ticket. No bother back in 2019 for our last visit, walked straight out. Know people have had bad experiences before but very odd we took 1,800 to Bristol for a night game and could take less to Zone 2!

Get down and support the boys if you can.

I can’t believe there was so few of us at Barnsley yesterday. We take 4k to coventry and only about 1500 to barnsley which is only an hour or so further on.
That is a lot more than we used to take up north, but then we don’t normally take 4k to coventry.Maybe the other 2500 knew what was going to happen?

150 odd left

Surprisingly poor but should sell even this minimal allocation before Tuesday.

I get away days are crazy expensive as are mid-week games for so many who live outside London, but don't get such a good turn-out for P'boro 2nd time around having had a similar big turn-out week before at Coventry.

Need to get the final few sold and give the lads a vocal backing as they need our support after a couple of below par performances where Willock and SJ were struggling / injured.

150 left with a couple of days to go. That’s not bad, at all.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Assume you've got your ticket?

I've been to Millwall countless times and frankly it's a massive pain in the arse so not surprised they haven't exactly flown off the shelves

2 of us going. I actually quite like the stadium it's just a PITA getting in and out.

I'll be there with my boys. One of the tamest away games going. Atmosphere is usually piss poor as well. Quite a few Millwall come dressed as blue plastic seats these days.

Yes, and its really not that much of a pain, this is a myth that gets bigger season on season,

Its in Zone 2, even a 30 minute delay to get to the station and you're at a Central London mainline station by 10.30pm latest, an hours commute and home for 11.30, is it really that much different to a mid-week game at Loftus Road?

And as for the pearly kings, ideally get a seat in the middle of the stand or if on the flanks, just ignore or laugh at them, as they can be very entertaining, especially when they sing that pre-match song.

having been to Peterborough, Coventry and Barnsley in the last 3 weeks I can't afford the trip plus midweek being locked in a stadium and not getting back to London Bridge before 11 doesn't appeal to me. I've been multiple times before and it's never just 15 minutes always a good hour to get back to the station. I'll make sure I take a long hard look at myself for not going though and be more of a real fan going forward

Away support has been amazing this season, most of us I expect have been stretching our wallets to get to more than we usually do...but pockets aren't limitlessly deep.

People will look at their budget, and weigh up the pros & cons of each game to make their choices. And let's face it, regardless of geography, 'wall will have plenty of ticks in the cons list.

Yeah it is different because at home games you can come and go as you please and leave at anytime you want

Millwall your stuck in that shit hole then herded on a train which can take ages to get on due to the police not allowing everyone on the platform and then when trains do arrive its a free for all

I can fully understand why people can't be arsed especially if they have done it a few times

Hence referencing how expensive away games are and expense of a trip to Millwall for our fans who live outside London.

But for fans who live in London, this team deserve a turn-out. I've only ever been held up once that long and if the result is a foregone conclusion, they don't close that side gate till amount the 85th minute, so you can get away lively and don't need to wait to be penned in.

I do remember once on a Saturday game the away fans being walked straight onto a train and another midweek game where there were no trains so the deep joy of walking around Bermondsey looking for a bus to civilisation. Every other trip to the New Den herded into a cage then walked as slow as humanly possible to a platform once every single home fan has left. Can remember a mid week trip still looking at the Floodlights at 10 45 an hour after the game has finished. The side gate is normally shut around the 70th minute which is usually announced over the Tannoy so fully understand why many are not bothering.
I can get back home from Ipswich quicker than I can Millwall throw in there are very few decent watering holes around London Bridge and it's an even less attractive trip for many

I’ve been a few times and haven’t any problems.

If you’re looking for a stress free journey get the 172 from the Sainsbury’s outside Waterloo Stn and get off at Ilderton Road. Avoid all the hassle of the crowded train and police etc.

all midweek games this season even at home have seen a lower crowd due to travel issues, people working from home these days and many other reasons. Any fan who can't go or doesn't want to go on Tuesday shouldn't be criticised imo, we've pretty much sold out the allocation so not really sure what the problem is

I am looking forward to it but I’m youngish, free and single. My dad won’t be there as I can’t be bothered with the agg of looking after him if it does get a bit lairy. It’ll be disappointing if we don’t sell out given the Cov numbers but whether there’s 200 or 2000 there it’ll be a fun night.

Millwall. Bring the kids!

Has been hassle free there for years , even last time with no trains after the game , walk to the main road Uber and at London Bridge by 1030. Easy Peary , lot of millwall don’t go any more so crowds and atmosphere are way down compared to previous seasons
