| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 18:45 - Feb 28 with 3122 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | I was right behind the goal in Upper Loft. Smyth standing in an offside position in front of the GK. Probably right decision. Linesman flagged it straight away. [Post edited 28 Feb 18:46]

| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 18:46 - Feb 28 with 3094 views | StreathamRanger | Just seen some highlights. I wonder if lino judged that Smyth had pushed the keeper. Looks like he might have. Regardless still incredibly soft and no need for it to be disallowed. | | | |
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 18:48 - Feb 28 with 3056 views | Paddyhoops | That will be an interesting conversation with the Lino and his partner tonight “How was your day darling?” “ Not bad apart from 16, 000 people calling me a c**nt for 15 minutes. “ We were right behind it and no more pushing and shoving than normal. To disallow that then Dunne should have had 3 penalties today . Complete B*****s | | | |
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 18:50 - Feb 28 with 3026 views | johnhoop | It was extremely disappointing as it would have set us up for a last twenty minutes or so of going after an equaliser with the crowd behind the team and we might even have got one. As it was it just killed the game which fizzled out afterwards. | | | |
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 18:53 - Feb 28 with 2980 views | HammersmithR | Dunne was being manhandled for every corner we had. Ref does nothing. We sit in the Upper Loft. Couldn’t see what Smyth did on the keeper. Arsenal do something every week on the keeper in their games. It’s the inconsistency which is infuriating. | | | |

Dunne three pens. Sorry was at the game. I must have missed that. Did not hear the crowd around me feeling hard done by, on any penalty shouts. Cant remember one close call at all. Crikey , i must have been sleep watching... Really !!! Regards the lino, was wondering if he could have cancelled another close call, how he was to get out of the lions den without a scratch. His position could have been under a little angst !!!! [Post edited 28 Feb 18:57]

I’m in the lower loft standing and the natives weren’t happy . Maybe it was all a dream . Wish it was .

| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 19:05 - Feb 28 with 2832 views | Ned_Kennedys | To me from Lower Loft near SA Road the Lino seemed to be signaling with his flag for offside which could not be right. If it was for a foul on the keeper then the ref would give this not the lino: how the feck could the Lino see and call this from his position? The whole episode made no sense and destroyed the game. | | | |

You can't be offside direct from a corner as the ball is going backwards from the kicker. Smyth was given offside from the header as he was standing in front of the keeper. There was no foul and it was flagged as offside.
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 19:12 - Feb 28 with 2759 views | Walnut | Offside. At the point of the header, Smyth was off and in the keepers sightline Frustrating but correct. | | | |
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 19:12 - Feb 28 with 2759 views | OldPedro | Smyth was tight on the keeper when the corner was taken but at this point, not offside. At the point Kone heads the ball, Smyth is in an offside position. The lino thinks that he is impeding the keeper at this point (I don't think he is) and flags. If he is interfering then probably a third of goals from corners should be disallowed. You just know we will concede the same corner in the next few games. Frustrating | |

Smyth must have stuck his head in the keepers nads 🤔😁
| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 19:26 - Feb 28 with 2658 views | Lanhoop | Lino deserved all the abuse he got. He was wrong and the ref too weak to overturn it. I know bad decisions are supposed to balance out over the season but I seriously doubt that is true. | | | |

Never seen this before at QPR or on any TV game

| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 21:42 - Feb 28 with 1999 views | Lblock | Not sure how the lino can judge Smyth is stopping the keeper in an offside position from stopping a certain goal Having said that……… I’ve papered over some cracks on n my time but this is woodchip across the Grand Canyon | |

| Our ‘goal’ today….why was it disallowed? on 23:45 - Feb 28 with 1682 views | LazyFan | It was not offside, Smyth was not interfering with play as he stood off the keeper by about a yard just as the header was met from the corner. That goal should have stood; it was a stupid decision. The game was lost, though, when Varane decided to give SU a pure charity. He should have booted it upstream; he had a small go at Esq, but Esquidina had no other option as the SU press was good. He should have balloned it. | |
