I like this comment
“ Tired players now chasing a game they should’ve put to bed in the first half.
The inability to cope with QPR hoofball is quite shocking.”

Remind me which team was launching long throw-ins into the penalty area?

"No other team in this division only had a 4 week close season....
In fact, most of them, including QPR, Reading, etc. were on the beach, with nothing to play for when the season restarted after lockdown last year....."

Do they mean us being on the beach when we got a Desmond at WBA that could have sent them up if they weren't massive bottlers?

A fun statistic is Brentford last beat Chelsea in 1939.

Hilarious, classless, jumped up, pompous, sad, so good they've lost to Barnsley and little old Rangers in consecutive games.
I assume that them being tired was the reason for Toney spending most of the game lying down 😊

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Toney and gravity, it's a beautiful relationship.

Not a bad result for going against a manager "miles above" ours. You go Warbs!

I have an issue with another comment made there tonight: "QPR win in what is now their cup final".

Sorry pal, I'm afraid that is trumped by Troy Deeney's claim that QPR's cup final is against Watford, and we have the video evidence to prove he said it.

very enjoyable 15 minutes

I thought this was telling

"Very disappointing. Noticeable how many posters have reappeared after Sunday, and today, that were nowhere to be seen when we had our unbeaten run."

I know its a bitter rivalry but I was surprised at the amount of posters that said QPR won the second half easily and actually deserved the win.
Had a giggle when they said we were so cynical and used the dark arts and they did not.

Think it was MBee who said ‘they bullied us’.

Music to my ears. Don’t think anybody said that ever about us in the first half of this season.

According to one post. We're " an efficient Div 1 side who hoof it it forward"
In fairness if you're a Brentford fan you would probably have Division 1 as you specialist mastermind subject . They've been in it long enough!!

I'm sure I'm the same in being biased but it's amazing how they couldn't see how cynical they were in the first half. Like most teams against us they had a worrying inability for professional athletes to stay on their feet anywhere near our penalty area, Toney in particular. Toney also regularly fouled our defenders when trying to break from our third and was lucky not to be booked earlier - seven fouls in one match is quite a feat. They were gobby to the ref all match too. Finally, they did more screaming than any other team I've seen this season, every time any of our players went anywhere near tackling them.

Oh and have they totally forgotten being outplayed for most of the match at their place this season, only saved by a cynical hauling down of Dykes that went unpunished and led to a later apology from the ref?

They missed out on hauling down Willock, admittedly, but innocent of the dark arts? I don't think so.

That was a fun read.

I didn't realise that they'd be hearing Sints & Nick London's comms.

Some of them were turning the sound down after NL's repeated references to Hounslow.

LOL.

They moaned about us being cynical and negative, and then they moaned about not being cynical as they should’ve made a tactical foul to stop our first goal. And they seem to forget that they were the ones who did virtually nothing attacking wise after they scored their goal. They obviously thought the game was won and consequently stopped playing football.

You could smell their arrogance, once they scored. Obviously, that extended to their bench given how vocal Charlie was when he scored. If I recall, their bench had plenty to say at their place.
They are arrogant, smug and have an air of superiority ,but have achieved feck-all to join that club. Loved beating them.
