Really enjoyable reading about our 'bang average, hoofball' side beating them. Get the impression no one actually beats Brentford they just score more goals than them?
That was fun knowing what was coming. You realise how similar they are to us really, some ridiculous, some OTT, some reasonable. I think they're a bit overrated as a team in a year when the Championship is weak but they will have enough to finally get to the PL.
Still, nice to win that one and address some of the frustrations :-)
(I like the forum too - can highlight quotes and you see the names of those that 'like' posts. Probably the best forum setup I've seen all season...)
What was interesting was the way in which the attitude on the Board changed from worshipping Brentford's Mastery of the Universe to a bunch of crying bedwetters. It's professional sport. Nobody has a given right to a result. That's what makes it entertaining.
That said, the fact that Charlie wound them up so much was brilliant - "It had to be Austin" was my favourite.
seeing that they had the QPR commentary was joyful. Mate of mine supports Brentford, he has never got over Sinton coming to us and was fuming hearing how much he loves us last night

I don't deny their attack is far superior to ours and I thought Canos in particular was a real handful, but we have conceded just one fewer than them this season.

They come acrss in the same way id imagine watford would have in the 80s same sort of mentallity and better than us attitude , couldnt stand watford either back then or to this day to be honest
1) “They (QPR) are a poor, poor team.” - if they’ve lost to said “poor, poor team”, what does that make them?
2) The moaning about standing over free kicks preventing them taking then quickly - they seem to have completely ignored the fact that Toney was doing it all game too! (Unless it’s ok for them to do it, but wow betide anyone else who does!)
Tbf tho, you had a decent number of rational and well-thought comments in amongst the silly and over the top ones.
