The Early Edition Midweek Northern 'Shithousery Special' Match Thread 09:00 - Feb 23 with 34377 views | Dorse | It has been estimated that approximately 13.8 billion years have passed since the beginning of the universe as we know it. Scientists have calculated that around 39% of that time has been wasted by Preston players feigning injury, complaining to the ref or kicking the ball away when their team is a goal up. These figures are startling: it seemed so much longer at the time. What, if anything, can we expect playing north of Watford gap, midweek, at Preston? Under normal circumstances, a piss-boiling display of rampant gob-bummery administered ad nauseum by the game's foremost exponents of the Dark Arts. Coached by Baphomet himself, Preston have clearly offered their first born daughters to the Evil One in order to gain mystical control over time itself and weakened the minds of Championship referees. Is there any hope? Yep. We got Charlie Austin. So there. [Post edited 24 Feb 2021 8:54]

No replacement named for Bettache on the bench is a bit weird mind. Different side for PNE tonight - young Liverpool loanee makes first start at the back, and looks like an attack with pacey countering in mind. Will the sh1thouse be as strong in this XI?

Same team I hope we are not repeating the Steve Mc flogging them to death, but in Warbs we trust So we are the polar reverse of we can't keep losing to now we can't keep winning but we have high hopes So though I want a win Mr TinT is hoping for a hard fought defeat as the lucky underpants are starting to walk around the bed room themselves at night.... but I can live with that Soooo think we will knick a draw here.... think it maybe Willock in the 2nd [Post edited 24 Feb 2021 19:40]

Agree with this especially seeing as we needed to make 5 subs on Saturday 'cos a lot of the team was blowing out of their 'arris by 60-65 minutes. Who knows what to expect? We are on a fantastic run, they're not. But we are QPR, so we know how that goes... As with almost all games so far this season, the margins are so tight. There'll be no more than one goal between the teams methinks... | |
