Went to the University at Buffalo and have since followed the Bills with interest, though the Giants are my team. Lot of nostalgia watching that game last night, so I thought it was good fun, though I'm sure it was an awful watch for most. Went to the Ralph many times as a youngin... one of the best NFL tailgates, as least from what I can recollect.

If someone came up to me and told me that they are going to watch football next Monday, would that be the 13th or the 20th? I think if you asked the general public, it would be the 13th as they would believe that the next Monday is the next Monday on the calendar and not the "Monday after that". So, I assume that this week is actually starting next Thursday as opposed to what has just gone past. It could be, but I am sure you just played in Cleveland (well, it's what is called play) this week and next week you are home again. Kicking back for a Saturday evening on the couch with an eight pack of cold Guinness....ruined. Well, deflated may be a better description really. Awful performance by New England, worst of the season, a first half riddled with so many errors it was hard to believe Indianapolis couldn't wrap it up until a couple of mins to go.

How on earth did the Steelers manage to sneak into the play offs? Big Ben even had his retirement lap of honour for goodness sake. What an implosion by the Colts to make it happen though. I know there is no such thing as a certainty in sport, but they were playing the Jags!!!
Kansas are on a roll, so I don't honestly see the Steelers derailing that next week. The Pats have lost a bit of momentum and the last team they would want to play is the Bills, who they have played twice in recent weeks and just nicked the divisional title from them.
