For me, I think the biggest thing is getting back on track. Quite ironic that we never looked liked scoring in the last two games (even with a penalty) after scoring for 31 in a row. So first thing is not to lose tonight, in order to avoid any hint of losing sequence and the second is to score, as that quickly becomes an 'important' stat also. I think we need four points from the next two, just to steady the ship a little. I don't really mind which way around, although can see Birmingham being a nil, niller, so going for a 2-1 win here, with Dykes scoring at least once.
| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:47 - Dec 30 with 2500 views | plasmahoop | We didn't play that well, but it's difficult to get any momentum with all the continuous time wasting and fouling. There needs to be a directive to sort it out. Are we playing football or American football? Totally ridiculous. So for that I feel we deserved it | | | |

| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:47 - Dec 30 with 2486 views | R_from_afar | Man that was a tough watch! We looked very tentative going forward and had to absorb a lot of City pressure, even when they had a man fewer, but at least we hung in there and nicked the win. That was winning ugly | |

Disagree and agree. We were shite - but who gives a fook

| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:48 - Dec 30 with 2458 views | DWQPR | Well that was about the worst performance this season and by a long way. Dunne for me was absolutely awful making wrong decision time and again, Johansen coming too deep and thus letting their players to press higher, Adomah couldn’t do. Thing right all evening, Amos apart from the penalty was poor and it’s just as well Dieng was on his game. Still to do exactly what they did to us at HQ was sweet and to have a ref that went all Keith Stroud on the opposition was quite pleasant. Still a win is a win whatever way. | |

| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:49 - Dec 30 with 2349 views | QPRSteve | One our worst performances and we come away with 3 points. I hope no one picked up a knock as we play again on Sunday. I wonder when we last had a full training session? | | | |
| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:50 - Dec 30 with 2306 views | Wegerles_Stairs | Fantastic win. Thought Amos was superb and made the difference with his tenacity. Having a referee who wasn't a complete c*** helped too. | | | |

| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:45 - Dec 30 by VancouverHoop | Yeah. I'm hard pressed to think of another game where we played that badly and got all three points. |
Agreed, but we did, so let's bank that as compensation for Stroud and other bad decisions that have come our way recently. Will take that tonight but worrying signs in defence again tonight. Not sure what is up with Dickie but seems to have lost so much confidence, maybe he is victim to not having an out ball as much as he has been used to and then with opponents pressing him he is starting to struggle when coming under pressure. Seems to be playing with a dropped head a lot of the time. Hope someone in the club can have a word his ear and get his confidence back up. Hopefully this is our rough patch but we do seem thin on the ground at the moment. Only 5 named on the bench - is that a signal to the board with New Year beckoning? Great way to finish off 2021 regardless. Come on you Rsssss

| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:55 - Dec 30 with 2072 views | Silverfoxqpr | I was going to post that given the slop served up in the first half I was delighted with a point, getting all three is in that manner is Michelin star. Couldn't give a monkeys about misplaced passes, positioning of players being a inch or three off and subs not being used within the correct minute. Sometimes it just goes your was and that's why we love the game of football and of course Rangers. URS. | | | |
| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 21:58 - Dec 30 with 1956 views | Match82 | Only caught bits and pieces of the game but from what I saw we didn't look great and the comments here suggest that was true for most of the game. Delighted with the 3 points and that's ANOTHER 3 points coming back from a losing position. We just don't know when we are beaten, love it. | | | |

I want revenge for that. I'm happy with terrible football and a 90th minute winner. "iM jUsT hApPy tO bE hErE" |

QPR - defying logic since 1882
| AD (after Daniel) - BC Match thread on 22:01 - Dec 30 with 1862 views | Greenbay | FT REPORT Talk about plucking victory from the jaws of defeat. A Charlie Austin penalty seconds before the end of the first half to level the match and a Barbet header in the 93rd minute did the trick. But let's be honest. We were very lucky. Bristol City were down to 10 men (Andy King sent off) with over 30 minutes left. Despite the win we were a shambles. It was the worst QPR performance IMO of 2021. Total lethargy was underlined by misplaced passes and poor running off the ball. Something is wrong. Yes it may be Covid, lack of practice, players injured but to a man lethargy ruled the day. Without the injured Chair - there's hardly any creativity. Willock is half the player without him. And even when we had the man advantage we just could not make it count. I take my hat off to City. They came forward looking for a winner with just 10 men. But now like all of us I suppose there are mixed feelings - victory great, performance horrific. The good bit is that we remain in 7th spot just a point behind Huddersfield and Middlesbrough with two games in hand. And we can thank Derby (3 successive wins) for winning at Stoke. Lets hope that this was a one-off performance. That victory at Bristol City will boot away that lethargy. A win at Birmingham on Sunday (if it goes ahead) will make all the difference to our confidence. Anyway great to finish 2021 with a win - despite how it was achieved. | | | |
