Barnsley was a 12.30 start, after we'd been in Middlesbrough on Wednesday night.

Three of us were having a good day out together, not now. Way to go Sky for getting the young fans in to live football. C#NTS I think big f off Sky banners need calling for this one there should be plenty of open spaces to put them.

Yes, you are correct. I mis-understood the O.P.

That’s a good idea. Sky literally have no concept of football beyond selling rights to the Far East, least of all the average home grown football fan. Last home game of the season for most is a big occasion irrespective of how the season has gone, but not on a fuk in Friday night. Are they expecting to grab the lions share of viewing figures by trumping Corrination St and Master chef ? Sheff United lads will be forced to take a half day and stump up for travel on a Friday peak time when money is scarce. It’s just not right | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Oh my effing God, the sheer irony of that advert, they really have no idea at all what they do to football fans outside the Prem. THEY have caused the greed in the first place, anf f#ck the fans in the process. Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

| Sky's final big fat fck you of the season on 08:47 - Apr 9 with 2108 views | Superhoop83 | My son I can usually only do Saturday daytime matches and we can't get to all of them. This season we've only been to Millwall, Bristol City, Hull and Fulham on Saturday, plus Sunderland and Swansea midweek. It's fair to say that Sky televising matches makes us less likely to go, especially during the week, but I hate lunchtime kick offs, Saturday evening ones are normally not an option and we simply can't do Sundays. If there had been more regular Saturday 3pm matches we'd have gone more and we might have seen QPR win! This season will be the first time I haven't watched us win in 40 years - and I was there in 2000/01. | |

How many giving serious consideration to chopping in the old season ticket now then hey? It’s an absolute disgrace and can we ignore a correlation to our home form? Now I love a game under the lights at W12 as much as the next man but Saturdays used to be sacrosanct. I’ve missed most of this season but bang up for a protest Got an idea for a banner…. Anyone good at a bit of art? Nine…. Not even double figures Fck me

If I had to pay full price again,I would definitely knock the season ticket on the head. What is the point of paying almost £500,plus at least double that in transport costs to come and see a game played on a Friday,Saturday lunchtime,Sunday or Monday night, when you can watch it from the comfort of your living room? I know we have to accept that we’ll be on occasionally, but I reckon it’s 14 or 15 times we’ve been on this season. And that’s without the red button games. Hopefully a big team like Everton will get relegated, and Sky will move on to someone else next season and leave us alone. Seeing as the team have virtually given up on the season we can spend the whole 90 minutes singing feck off Sky,or something similar.

I imagine the bill from the old bill will take a fair chunk of any Sky payment the club receive, perhaps Sky could agree to cover it?

Like they did for the Luton game then?Maybe the police are too busy protecting the Sky lorries to worry about the fans?

You can’t chop your season ticket L Block. What would you do with yourself on a Saturday afternoon? Oh, hang on a minute…..
| Sky's final big fat fck you of the season on 10:14 - Apr 9 with 1932 views | hertshoops | Have to be positive, last chance for a drink up with football mates before pre-season friendlies, and at least getting the game out of the way on a friday night leaves the whole weekend free | | | |
| Sky's final big fat fck you of the season on 10:17 - Apr 9 with 1924 views | DannyPaddox | From LBLocks suggestion. Something simple like a fleet of drones descending on the stadium. An effigy of Jamie Carragher’s head dangling from one of them (or whoever the Sky faces are these days). Accompanied by a fusillade of choreographed smoke bombs with this banner prominent. On second thoughts forget the smoke bombs. | | | |

To be honest if I had to make the purchase today, I would, after about 50 years of being a holder, say no. Hopefully, I'll have perked up by the time the deadline is announced.

Im seriously thinking of chopping in my ticket as well aftrr 40 years, 67 now so midweek games at premium rate train fare and getting back home at midnight a bit much now a dozen times a season. Just pick and choose Saturday games a and QPR plus a few at a tenner.

I wasn’t getting at you in any way at all. I just remember that “What else are you going to do with yourself on a Saturday afternoon?” used to be one of the key reasons people gave for renewing their season ticket when the discussion of whether to renew or not came up. Only now Sky have turned it into a sick joke.
