I'm completely in awe of this. No event in the history of my life has been marked to that extent. Nowhere near. I have sheer admiration for the people who are making the pilgrimage and I am completely humbled just looking at the queue on my television, yet alone joining it. A shame that more time could not be given to make it more easily accessible but obviously there are logistics and rituals to be observed. I hope every football supporter in the land gives the minute's silence and national anthem the full respect they deserve tomorrow.

This is a thread about a queue that Philip Schofield (And 'friends') became notorious for jumping. Threads about the Queen's funeral are available on this website, and this is not one of them. Slightly confused as to why you feel the need to try and shut this conversation down.
Confused as to why you think I'm shutting it down? I just said "not here maybe?"

I can't comment on anything Schofield might or might not have done. But considering the power dynamics at play in this story, I am very surprised that our friendly local Marxists aren't all over it.

I think you need to read the op to see what the thread is supposed to be about.

You know, I try my best to live and let live these days, but as someone whose best friend was quite violently sexually assaulted, the insinuation that I'm turning a blind eye to abuse and sexual impropriety due to politics has really raised my blood, and I'm going to bite.
F**k you.

You very specifically cited my post claiming I would only care if Boris had done something wrong. Everyone has eyes, and can see what you said, spin away all you want.
This has turned into the very thing I sought to avoid happening here, my mistake for engaging with noted bad faith actors I suppose

Oh come on, nobody has said you don't care about it, just that for whatever reason you're keen for this story to not be discussed on here (Still intrigued as to why, but like your "Bad faith actor" comment, I'm hardly gonna lose any sleep if I don't get to the bottom of it) when we all know you'd be sticking the boot in yourself were it a tory MP or Jeremy Clarkson or anybody similar.

The interesting thing about Schofield is that the story has been common currency on the internet for ages, including that video of him with the very young-looking guy having a meal together when he gets ambushed by some z-lister celebrating a landmark number of followers. The look on his face is priceless.
I doubt he's as prolific as Sir Jingle Jangle KBE but it's from exactly the same playbook. Senior figures turning a blind eye to protect the 'talent'.

It was investigated twice at itv when they worked together both denied having an affair, worth saying the bloke in question was 20 when they worked together so don’t quite buy the cover up narrative, whether they knew each other when he was younger or started something when he was younger only they know really, I imagine they will come out if it did happen
The bit I hate at the moment is the likes of eamonn holmes jumping all over it happy to talk now he’s getting paid for it but didn’t want to say a word at the time when he was asked about what he knew

I suspect Holmes didn't talk about it for the same reason people didn't openly talk about it on here. It's been common knowledge on the internet for ages. As I'm sure you already know, English defamation law makes these things difficult.
Another round to the conspiracy theorists....Watching the news is obsolete.

Holmes is notoriously difficult as well. I think what is clear here is that Schofield became an arrishole especially to people behind the scenes which is why so many people are putting the knife in now.
The more interesting story actually is the Nick Cohen one from the Observer which the New York Times is running because again none of the papers or media here including the right wing press were willing to run it and why is that? because the papers dont want a light shone on their own cultures particularly the likes of the mail and the telegraph who you would have expected to be all over this like a rash

He talks about a cover up and claims to have known it all at the time if he did he could have spoken at the time to his bosses or publicly he chose neither until he could make some money
Should say I’ve no idea what did or didn’t happen but is a bizarre situation to have so many people happy to speak for money now when they stayed quiet at the time

It was mentioned on Novara Media yesterday.
Nick Cohen is part of the B-52 (pro-Imperial) Left, so I am sure there are a lot of people in that milieu, as well as imperialists on the right, who won't want to see him go down.

Just goes to show how fake the media is. Don't understand why people watch this crap put out by the likes of BBC, ITV, Channel 4.....But they do, and it has an influence.
One of the regular "celebrity chefs" on This Morning, Jack Monroe, is on Question time tonight posing as a "Food poverty expert" despite mounting evidence that she's little more than a scam artist. Why do they continue to platform established frauds even after they've been outed? And how did these frauds ever get onto those platforms in the first place?

It sounds like you shouldn't give a toss. So don't. Nobody has said that you should.
Incredible resistance to calling this out for what it is on here. Surely you're not ALL on the ITV payroll?
No issue with it being called out but for some reason beyond me it’s been the biggest story on major news outlets for days when there is so much more important stuff going on.

This story has been known about on the web for months, if not years, it's hardly news.
The media knows this. They are presenting it as "news" in full knowledge that it's not. They are lying and we're getting better and better at seeing through it.
