Personally, when those sailors grabbed each others hands to pull that coffin yesterday from Westminster Hall, I choked up. I wasn't expecting to — in fact it surprised me that I did — but raw emotion is truth I guess.
I also feel an immense pride in seeing those lads bear that coffin.

I think it's the way they're maintaining they didn't jump the queue while admitting they used media credentials to jump the queue. I dunno about you, but to a lot of people, it seems a bit hypocritical.
"We would never jump a queue".........."Ok maybe we didn't actually join the queue, but we had "official permission" by way of a media pass to use a back door, so it doesn't count"
I'm sure joining the queue was considered and ruled out as an option for them, I'm sure they'd have done it for the good PR if their schedule allowed. Wouldn't say I'm angry about it, I'd happily take a media pass to jump a queue 99 times out of 100. I just find it funny seeing them squirm, and even more so because this is probably the 1 example in 100 where it's not really appropriate.  |  |

from what I've heard they didn't walk past the coffin and join the queue with the public, they just walked to one side so was slightly different and they were not the only people to do that, media from all round the world did that during those 4 days.
