Willock injury 21:44 - Oct 4 with 9860 viewsTonto

Please dont be serious...

Definitely a dampener on what was otherwise a very bright evening

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Lwft hammer tonight. Looked like they were treating mid-hammer, though, and not the top or bottom. Hopfully then not an off-the bone injury.

Was it left or right last year, can anyone remember?

He came out after the game with it fully strapped but with a clear limp. Hopefully the fact that he was load bearing and they let him onto the pitch is a good sign. The team is better set up to cope without him better this year, but it would still be a major major blow if he was out for any real length of time.

What a player he is (and what a performance that was!)

3 home bankers in the next four games and a guaranteed 3 points at St. Andrews, we may not need him for a while anyway.

Looked classic hammy to me. Pulled up in mid-flight clutching the back of his thigh. Hopefully not as serious as the previous injury. Can we bring the World Cup forward to October please?

The same Birmingham who softened Sheffield United up for us on Saturday?

No such thing as bankers in this league particularly at home where we haven't been as prodigious as on the road.

I think Willock being pushed around for a few weeks in a wheelchair would still be dangerous. He's that good.

Never knowingly right.

Willock’s on the pitch at the end of this video. Hamstring heavily strapped but the way he’s moving it looks more like a strain than a tear or something more serious.

When he went down he said it's gone again to Chair and Chair was indicating that he'd pulled the hamstring again to Beale

Doesn’t sound good. But the World Cup break might do us a favour if Willock’s out longer term. Six weeks to go and we’ll need other players to step up but it’s doable and hopefully have Willock fully fit for the restart in December if not beforehand but can’t be rushing it.

With Luton looming on the horizon I really wanted Willock to be on the pitch to take the game to them. No chance he will be fit for that game now which gives them hope.

I think a possible Dieng injury is a bigger problem.

This season we can potentially manage games better without Willock but I don't think we have adequate cover for Senny.

Oh Christ !!

Yes you gone and said it now !!!

I generally keep quiet about easy games following up from a couple of brilliant performances against decent sides.

Superstitions and all that !!

And knowledge of our great teams ups and then downs when you least expect them !!!

He was walking around on the pitch with the others at the end so probably not too serious.

Bugger. I must admit I was slightly concerned that in the second half he wasn't taking goal kicks but I just buried my head in the sand and hoped it was nothing.

I applaud your bright outlook there SydneyRs but he looked pretty stiff and sore to me .If he was caught saying its gone again that would be brutal bad luck to him and us.
Lets hope for his sake this season and going forward this does not keep happening he is such an amazing player and person too it sounds like

I suppose the only positive thing about it for me is that on the evidence of what we’ve seen so far this season, if I had to rely on anyone to come up with a solution to the problem of how we cope without Chris Willock till he’s fit again, I’d want it to be Mick Beale.
