Lowe brings something good, but needs match fitness. And in truth he should have won us this game.
To be fair the players look distraught out there. They did put in a shift, and do seem to care.
Slightly concerned by total lack of tactical adjustment 2nd half to deal with how Swansea changed things.

Connell called it right. Thanks for the commentary, Brian et al 👍

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Lowe's been running on fumes all this half but forces a corner.

Hopefully he'll get his match fitness up soon...and I hope it's better than the current bench- mark at QPR.

Great question.

Part of it, and it's only part of it, is that we should have been out of sight at half-time.

Willock cross, cleared, Kakay, loses it, back, shoots, blocked.

Good point. We should have been comfortably ahead at half time.

But I think our inability to play well for 90 minutes comes back to our mentality and inexperience as a squad. It’s the same reason we have wildly inconsistent patches of winning and losing games.

We need some strong willed leaders in this team imo. Getting Johansen fit would be a start but we need one or two more.

Sticks tongue out and makes rude farting noise. But, we didn't lose, with a performance that was certainly better than we were dishing up a month or so ago. Disappointed, though not angry, bitter, saddened or any of the other misery adjectives I've been using recently.

Agree.Iro offers next to nothing as far as I can see. Really thought it would be Roberts day today after last week. The curse of the Loft end has got to him.

Way too harsh on Iro. Lots of good things in this game plus mistakes. Scapegoat new boy Lowe of you want for missing big chance in 2nd half. Imagine the reaction from some if Dykes had missed that.

And they are 2 who can last the 90. Willock did ok when he came on, but we missed Dykes imho. Kakay had a bit of a mad one, Tim great first half, second half, not so much.
Ref just went for the easy decision every time, didn't have much to do but didn't do it well. manning is an arse and refs should be aware of him by now.

Lowe has only just come in...I'll reserve judgement on him for a while. Dykes and Iro have been playing nearly every game...and still don't look up to it.

Totally agree and I’m glad someone has come on here and said it
To casual and that near fcuk up on the byline was Sunday league stuff , Manning had Kakay on toast second half with Tim offering no help at all , feel sorry for field as he is always doing the job for two

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

One win in 13 and still don't know how to score down the Loft End in second half. I am losing hope we will ever score a winner in the second half at home again this season.

What another dagger to get caught at home like the Sheffield game we need to put these games to bed with more goals.
Everytime we are hanging on it appears ineviatable we get caught .
Bringing on Albert and Dozell is not too inspiring we have nobody to win games .
Injuries are still killing us year after year too it looks like.
Feels like a loss to be honest we are flatlining right now

It should have been Roberts that was helping Kakay, not Tim. Roberts was doing it first half and beginning of 2nd, but ran out of legs.
Critchley was trying to change it before the goal. Both Dozzell and Albert were ready to come on and getting final instructions.
Had Albert managed to get on, he would of pushed Manning back, nulifying the overload.
The reason we didn't win was due to missed chances. We should of been out of sight by 65 minutes.

Should have had that sewn up. Inevitable they'd equalise when we didn’t get the second.

Kakay simply not good enough at this level.

qpr cannot buy a win at home! loftus road is not the fortress we need , goals win games, win games go up table, look at the baggies.

Agree on the first point. The second, however, is your opinion, but in my opinion it is an absolutely shite opinion. Ozzie fine and not a problem today.

Lowe cost us that game. If Dykes had missed those two chances the pitchforks would have been out.

And where was the outcry for the handball from the back pass freekick. Their defender made the best save any of the three other keepers in the game and no-one in the crowd or the pitch spotted it. It was blatent.

Those free kicks are ridiculous; no-one is ever going to score from one of them.

And you all know I am not Dykes' biggest fan, but that last 30 minutes shows how bad we will be without him or at least someone similar up top. Selling him without a decent replacement will make a nightmare end to this season.

Disappointed with the result, but we're not going up nor down, so it's all about trying to enjoy the rest of this season and build for next...

Can we go out yet?

Another good assist for Dykes today, similar to Fleetwood, reacted first and found his man in the box, also some very good hold up play and lay-offs in 1st Half,

Chairs work-rate was immense but slowed down 4 good counter-attacks in 1st Half and at least 2 in the 2nd Half,

Roberts stopped running and left Kakay exposed for their goal, fine margins.

Just got back home, I know everyone slates Dykes goal ratio but we so missed him when he went off. He is a pain in the ass for centre halves, without him the 1st goal would not have happened. Missed him more than Laird. Funny how Lowe scored the hardest chance. Should have won but by the 90th minute desperate for a draw. Haven’t read the thread ( sorry guys) but at least we are not losing ?

I can't deny that we looked worse after Dykes went off today.Therein lies the problem though. If we miss him...then the solution to our attacking problems are even grimmer than I thought. Lowe needs to be a success, and Roberts needs to decide if he wants to play football or not.

Small steps is the best we can expect TBH. Think Lowe will come good when he has settled in properly. Roberts is more of a concern than Dykes at the moment.

Lowe seems to have proven what the solution is, playing as a mobile 2nd forward off Dykes, getting close to him, running beyond him and just being in the box for lay-offs and crosses,

What is'nt the solution is Ilias Chair taking minimum 4 touches every time he receives the ball, not playing for Stevenage now and counted at least 6 times today when we lost momentum on the attack because he didn't look up and play an easy pass, having 3 shots blocked by the defender standing right in front of him was just wtf.

Sorry, admire the lads work-rate but going forward today that was very very poor from Chair.

Chair wasn’t at his best and I agree that he needs to stop trying to shoot when it’s clearly not on.

But it’s a weird flex to single him out when it was his work rate that put an absolute sitter on a plate for Lowe to kill the game.

Chair is really the least of our problems.

I think there's merit in both of your opinions.
