That one is on Tuchel. Going back 5 against Mexico was justified, we were down to 10 men. Against Norway it worked, because it was less time, with only a plodding Haaland as the main threat.
But Argentina are not those two teams. And to do it on 70 minutes, with 20 + injury/hydration time to play just invited endless pressure. The extra CB made us less safe. It didn't protect it against either goal. |  | | |

I think i’m more angry than disappointed. I know the manager only gets it right if you win a game but when Gordon came off I was gobsmacked. Way too early, if at all, to bring him off.
Kane was fairly quiet most of the game which became invisible the last 25 mins which wasn’t his fault, he was a passenger.
Ok.. so you decide to park the bus but no one was on the player who got the equaliser and it was Bellingham, again, who saw the danger but he can’t do it all on his own. Someone should have closed him down sooner. For the winner, great cross but no one near the scorer. Be right next to him and on him as he jumps, make him head it over but he had the freedom to score. Is all that on the manager or the players…. or both.
