So judging by those videos and the Frey one, have they been around HQ for a while, or are they already in Genoa? I'm confused.

Am guessing they wanted to be more sure about Santos's visa situation before announcing. He'd shirley have agreed personal terms if he was out there?

I notice on the offish it also says 'both transfers are subject to international clearance'. Why does somebody from Ayreshire need that?!

Anyway Santos looks like a young Tony Danza which is nice.

Interesting, who told them to go to Genoa when the rest of the squad are in Girona?

Typical Rangers.

Ayrshire, as I'm sure you know Brooklyn is in Scotland. A different country, at least as far as FIFA are concerned.

I am indeed aware sir. My mum has a good friend there - Marlyn - lovely lady.

But you don't need FIFA clearance to move from Scotland to England do you?!

Anyone get confused by the way the journalist introducedboth their quotes by starting with ‘describing himself as a player’…? I thought they were essentially being big headed saying ‘I’m a right baller, me!’

No? Sorry just me then.

Yeah me. Then read the same thing in the second interview and realised it was just poor editing. :)

Morrison is joining from Bayern Munich, hence the international clearance

Actually, you need international clearance moving across any border including the ' home countries'.

I think we're still allowed to kill Scottish people on our beaches, as long as arrows are involved.
Unless, presumably, they have FIFA clearance

It's a segment of the tourist industry that's really worth looking into, IMHO.

Apperently its not true but just to make sure like Cinderella you are back by 12.

"The saying goes that it is perfectly legal to shoot a Welsh person with a longbow within Chester's city walls after midnight.

It has also been thought that the same applies on a Sunday in the Cathedral Close in Hereford.

If you're about to head out the door arrows in hand, we're afraid we'll have to stop you - as it is completely false.

A spokesperson for the Law Commission said: " It is illegal to shoot a Welsh or Scottish person regardless of the day, location or choice of weaponry."

Yes, you do Bklyn.

International clearance is just a check that the player has no debts outstanding to the club he had been playing for or to the governing football association of that country. It has nothing to do with the nationality of the player.

I'm still awaiting the Namibian association to reply to an international clearance request 20 years ago!
