There are always clubs available for sale at the right price and most of them will be more attractive than QPR. We have no realistic prospect of expansion, plenty of others do - including Wrexham, for instance.

The fakes ground Is designed and built for expansion, although I doubt very much that will ever happen.

From the horses mouth they make a lot of cash from their marketing suites and on site hotel.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

I hope you are right but I’m not so sure .

Got pretty restless where I was Saturday at the half time whistle .
People not happy, which reminds me.
As I stood up to stretch my legs, so did the young chap next to me .
As he did so, I noticed he was holding a Chelsea superstore Carrier bag.

I said to him “ I’d hide that if I was you cos if this gets as nasty as I think it might do , then that will be like a red rag to a bull to some ”.
He explained to me that he didn’t know that it would be a problem as he and his friends were Italian tourists and just wanted to watch an English football match . How they got tickets in the upper loft I’m not sure?
Really nice kid as it happens . He opened the bag to reveal a whole swag of QPR merch from the club shop . I didn’t ask what he got at the swamp as I don’t care 😊.

He couldn’t believe that I didn’t have a “big club” that I support .
At that point I stopped all communications 😊

They do have a habit of changing teams and support at half time….

Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

It says quite a lot that this content is more interesting than most of the other threads at this stage of the season !

Do they have an option to make it smaller to reflect their crowds?

Huge win for Ipswich. From the point of view of praying for three worse teams again next season we could do with Hull staying down as a team ripe to collapse next time. They’ve done incredibly well as one of the pre-season faves to go down.

Our fanbase is generally pretty fair. If we make an effort and lose, they will acknowledge it. However, on Saturday we were incredibly passive, sitting back and inviting them to attack us in wave after wave. It was like a game of attack vs. (not very good) defence. If we do the same on Sunday, we will get rinsed and it could get pretty aggy.

Not the Championship but do start your day with the story of the Grimsby fan who wanted to check how many tickets were left for Oldham A so added each individual remaining one to his basket making the game appear as 'sold out' in the process.

Oxford 3-1 up at Preston. If they hold on they move above Leicester and West Brom.

Preston is definitely one we should go all out for a win, they look shocking.

Our 2-1 win at their place sealed our safety last season. Wouldn't be surprised if we ended up in a similar position with our game on the 6th

A (potential) happy story of football social mobility. In the 2021/22 season Leicester were in the Premier League and playing in Europe competing against the likes of Napoli, Roma, and PSV Eindhoven. In the same season Bromley were in the National League battling with Maidenhead, Kings Lynn Town, and Altrincham. On the way to winning the FA Trophy they had to overcome Tonbridge Angels.

Five seasons later Leicester and Bromley could find themselves in the same league.

To Oxford's credit they have taken the game to Preston, had a decent number of shots and weren't too bad when in possession. Here's hoping we can do similar in some of our forthcoming games.

Nice to see Spurs being prescient in priming Will Lankshear for their championship campaign, next season.

Maybe so, but wouldn't it be wonderful if our motley crew of left-footed wide players could use their weaker foot as well as F Azeez. There's no awkwardness and reluctance in his game to use his weaker right foot. That ability to use it without any hesitation led to their second goal.

It's just down to laziness not being able to use your weaker foot, especially when playing in advanced/attacking positions. Azeez came through the non-league system, whilst some of ours have been pampered at so-called leading youth academies, yet can't use their weaker right foot to such telling effect as Azeez, who cost the Wall just £1m from Reading.

Wall winning again …that second spot is on for them. As much as I hate the club I have to respect they are doing a great job with the resources they have. Another club similar size to us showing how you can outperform clubs with bigger revenue and resources.

Hoping for defeats for the Baggies and Leicester today as we crawl towards safety and sixteenth

I’m not seeing any points for us tomorrow or midweek so keeping that 12 point gap is key.
After this weekend there’s 10 games left so one more win might do it If teams in 22nd and 23rs maintain their form.

I really cannot believe that YET AGAIN I’m looking at bottom six connotations

Bloody club!!!!

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Ipswich denied a stick on pen in the last seconds

Leicester lost k a bit desperate and also very “Rowetty”

If by some miracle we get a win tomorrow all will be well with the world.
The concern is sleep walking into a battle we are not equipped to deal with; that’s very easily done from where we are at.
17th position looks like ours though

Alex Neil, manager of the season?

Getting Millwall to 3rd, and fighting for the automatics.
No one likes em but hard to disagree with how well they’re doing this season.

Can you imagine us getting to the fifth round of the cup (lol), it going to penalties and losing it because some knob tried a Panenka?* I would say I’d be on the pitch ready to do 20 years for murder but I think a thousand or so of you would be quicker than me to get there. My head would be on Mars right now if I were a Brentford fan. Should be fined two weeks’ wages and have his head kicked in by the massive centre-halves. I’m almost angry for them.

*my money would be on Dembele.
