I’m sure Ebs is just following team instructions: Arteta isn’t going to let anyone have a free role and that probably curtails the dribbling.

Before todays game he'd scored 2 goals in 15 games.
So in 1 game it's gone from 1 goal in over 7 games, to 1 goal in just over 3 games.

I watched the game. Eze was phenomenal. His finishing is sublime and I think he can and will get even better. |
Agreed. Admit I feared for the lad when he suffered that terrible Achilles injury (on the same day he found out he’d been picked for England’s provisional Euro 2020 squad apparently). Probably because he's an attacking midfielder and not a forward.
Also probably because he's playing in team full of quality players challenging for the premier league title.
Are you forgetting that Palace won the FA Cup last season for the first time in their history? Eze was a key part of that, scoring in 4 of the 6 rounds, including the final! |

Maybe. But isn't that just the upward trajectory that you'd expect from a quality attacking player? Improving year on year from his teen years to arguably his peak years right now?
