WE WANT NOURRY OUT SAID WE WANT NOURRY OUT 18:21 - Mar 8 with 9783 viewsLblock

I’ve had a few Sunday liveners but when will we hear this? Will we hear it?

11 goals conceded in 3 games with no reply.
His mate has killed the fitness
This is HIS squad
Terrible, terrible players signed for ridiculous money
A squad not built for this level
Steve Cook clearly being played with
Totally and utterly embarrassing after the money wasted and it all leads to the door of one man
(Unless you include those who appointed him)

Get him gone

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

"A workforce across the non-playing side of the club absolutely fed up with a lack of leadership, presence, budget, and care for the club."

This bit nails it for me.
How true it is, only those within the club know for sure. But looking in from the outside, this does stack up.
We all knew, we wasn't going to get much out of todays game. But for me, the disappointing/ frustrating thing about watching Boro, was how much fitter, stronger, better their players are compared to us.
We've been in the championship a while now , and i know the buzzword when we got relegated in 2015 was consolidation. But that's over a decade now , and we don't look like we've made any sort of progress on the pitch.
I don't think its all down to our manager. Its what goes on above them that's the issue. And whatever that issue is, it translates to the rest of the team. Field wanting to go is a red flag for me. I know others have defended it, but to me that doesn't look like a player that's digging in for the greater course.
Injuries haven't helped in the slightest of course, but there's something else that doesn't seem right with the players, as it always does at this stage of the season.

TBF the only # 'workforce across the non playing side of the club' we need is some proper DJ playing from 6.00 to 8.00 on Saturday night on Release/Kane radio :-)

I’ve said this before but Nourry reminds me of JD Vance, one arrogant, cocky prick. I’ve never taken to him, he’s smarmy and self invested with an overwhelming perception of self importance, the sooner he and his multitude of lackeys go the better as far as I’m concerned.

Great shout, that. I've been trying to think for ages who he reminds me of - it's exactly that

Shit but local

After this setup today

Then position is untenable....

Is that the graphic for the first goal ? When we suddenly pushed Morgan up to the front line and had 4 players on the halfway line while they were passing it around us at will until they scored ? JS should be sacked for that tactical decision alone.

I completely agree with your comment about the workforce being demotivated. That has to be a problem with leadership within the club.

I don't agree with you about Sam Field. He has been on the sidelines all season, filling in here and there when needed. At 27 he needs to be playing regularly. He is about to enter his prime years and I don't blame him for looking after number one.

The fact we have tossed aside such an experienced and capable Championship player should be the bigger concern. And that again comes back to the leadership.

i dont have any beef with Stephan.

i think he is being told what to do and when.

I just think he is a coach and thats it.and and as the football man in the hierarchy, i think he has no say in match day decisions.

He is being hung out to dry and i expect he will be on his way soon.

Nourry and Williams will hide away.

The pre match video of a lot of underperforming players laughing as they walk into the stadium.

AGAIN THATS A PR BLUNDER OF EPIC PROPORTIONS.

We will probably survive this season, which seems mad to say, given where we werr but peoplr will leave but the two most culpable will still be here and hide away, just loke some of our senior players like Hayden in particular did today.

Smyth and Cook not starting. Field am sure will be sold to Norwich. Clean sweep it seems

He was desperate for a job he knew what was coming yes sir no sir three bags full sir , he was sold to the fans as this wonderful coach who had some decent players in his youth team who he didn’t manage to ruin , he went on long winless runs twice at his previous club nourry got what he wanted the only person who would say yes ! Easy money season of crap and get a decent pay off and repeat till the next idiot out of work coachcomes I willing to take the same deal loads of money

Oh no don’t forget he won the cup in 2019 as well

I’d love to know how many coaches they actually spoke to and turned them down . Nourry go what he wanted it’s that simple .

Anyone got richard Thompsons phone number ?

Yep. I'm not trying to put it all on Field, he obviously had his own valid reasons, but like you say , he shouldn't be in that situation in the first place. That's the red flag. The fact we have tossed aside such an experienced and capable Championship player, given our situation. Every player wants to play first team football, goes without saying. But to let him go, to a rival championship club halfway through a season, seems ridiculous to me.

I just don't understand how Hoos has survived for so long. When it all kicked off against Les, Hoos was running things with him - that's about the time he gave that guy the finger. Yet somehow he survived like a cockroach.

And Nourry's his protege? Jesus wept.

I don't want anybody out, quite the opposite In fact, as I see It we carry on until the end of the season, crap as It is then and only then do we reconfigure our Management structure from top to bottom.
We've been 'pissing In the wind' for what seems like an eternity, year on year we're doing nothing as a club apart from opening the turnstiles every couple of weeks.
Todays result/performance was horrific If Nourry was sacked tonight we'd still lose our next two away games, we are truly not very good, we are better than losing at home 4-0 though.
Of course It's all very frustrating but we'll get through It, (that's what I keep telling myself anyway).

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

2 years and 2 months as CEO and self appointed DOF.

£25m spent, including the Eze sell on negotiated by LF.

Some great QPR people gone including Furlong, Evans, across the scouting network and back office

A bloated “Methodology” dept reporting to him.

A bloated “Perfomance” dept reporting to him, delivering two years of shocking fitness, conditioning and injuries.

Onto his second Head Coach after briefing against and alienating the guy in situ who delivered one of the recent miracles in keeping that Ainsworth side up (achieving a ppg equivalent to 9th in the league from Oct-May, with a squad the current DOF had nothing to do with).

His own Head Coach on course to finish the same or lower with a squad built by the CEO/DOF after 4 transfer windows now.

Exciting prospects from 2024 (Kolli, and then Morgan) going backwards, and, in the case of one allegedly trying to ostracise him, it sounds like.

Few exciting 1st team youth prospects coming through.

A workforce across the non-playing side of the club absolutely fed up with a lack of leadership, presence, budget, and care for the club.

There needs to be a serious change at the club. At the very least Williams needs to go, but there is a case for a major overhaul.

Removing and replacing Stephan but keeping the team above him…does anyone really think that will change much?

Absolutely spot on !

As I said previously, CN could start by getting rid of his mate . But that ain’t going to happen .

So much wrong behind the scenes it’s beyond belief.
A basic red flag from a year or so ago was Ilias on a podcast being asked if he enjoyed the lunch time kick offs for Sky . He said “no not really because you have to go in and eat pasta at 9am”

Pasta!! Before a game ????
Pasta perhaps the day before or after a game ..but as a pre match meal ?! It just sits in the stomach and is slow to digest . Basic basic basic sh*t!!

Get rid of these people .

I was just thinking today I wonder whether they have a nutritionist advising the players? If they have a shit diet then that might partly explain the ridiculous number of non-contact injuries we've had this season. Carb loading with pasta before matches is so 1980s. Bring in Dr. Berg!

Only half joking. Something's not right behind the scenes. Maybe it's the basics?

Spot on. And to top it all off we're stuck with another 3-4 year cycle of this rubbish. On our budget you only get the opportunity to rebuild squads once in a while and unfortunately much of the Eze money has been wasted on players we either didn't need, aren't good enough or both. As you say a major overhaul is required including culling much of the bloated and ineffective Methodology and Performance teams as well as demoting Nourry to a post more in keeping with his age and inexperience.

I was somewhat drunk when posting but you have nailed it here in a way I couldn’t have done even if stone cold sober.

The club’s reputation throughout the game is farcical from what I gather.
That has only been added to last decade year on year.

It’s the dismantling of those you’d call “QPR people” that should concern us all the most

If that’s right, that’s frightening.

Have to say though, any manager worth his weight would stand at one end of the table, place his elbow in the horizontal and sweep the entire table into the bin telling them you won’t be eating this any more.

Whether we like it or not, we can’t keep employing managers who let someone else wipe their arse every morning.

But the only type of head coach our CEO will appoint is someone willing to work for him in this structure. And the only type of head coach who will come to work here is one content to work in such a structure and for our CEO.

I am sure you are right, Dave, but how does that come about? Nourry has to go to the Board and say that Stephan isn't working out and needs to be removed. Surely, surely, the Board would respond - hang on? Wasn't he your man? Isn't he following your overarching instructions (if true)? Why did we have to pay off Cifuentes for someone no better? Why are we sailing so close to the PSR ceiling having splashed out a lot of money on transfers yet (i) there are no fit sellable assets and (ii) we are no better off in the league?

Or do the Board / owners just nod and go "Yes, Christian, it is all the manager's fault. Great shout."

Let’s say a Warnock or a Neil walked into the meeting, did a nodding dog act to get the job, then decided fck this, I’m doing it my way, the players see someone who’s his own man, started winning games, do you really think Ruben would kick him out?

Owners want winners, players want a manager they respect. The latter will never last long when the managers a lap dog.
