WE WANT NOURRY OUT SAID WE WANT NOURRY OUT 18:21 - Mar 8 with 9767 viewsLblock

I’ve had a few Sunday liveners but when will we hear this? Will we hear it?

11 goals conceded in 3 games with no reply.
His mate has killed the fitness
This is HIS squad
Terrible, terrible players signed for ridiculous money
A squad not built for this level
Steve Cook clearly being played with
Totally and utterly embarrassing after the money wasted and it all leads to the door of one man
(Unless you include those who appointed him)

Get him gone

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

If the club had any kind of clue they would also go and get Mark Devlin back from Leyton Orient as a COO to run the non footballing side of the club at LR.

Not only is Nourry struggling he is doing WAY too much. CEO, DOF, lliasing with the council on this new business strategy team H&F have put together and now potentially having to do more with the QPR trust now Andy Evans has departed.

I've always thought that the question for those at the club wondering if Nourry should be retained is 'would you hire today someone with his CV?'

And the question for those wondering if Hoos should be retained is 'would you hire today someone who hired someone with Nourry's CV?'

Good, and fair, questions.

I'm suffering badly from malaise and déjà vu with everything about the club.

It will be exactly the same next year, what do people want, promotion to the Prem, a shot at the play offs, a season of win some lose some?.

I haven't a clue who owns this f cking club and I don't need to know either, I'm bored stiff with QPR having said that by 19.45 Wednesday 11th March I'll be hypocritically back In love again with this lost cause of a football club.

I temporarily give up.

WE WANT NOURRY OUT SAID WE WANT NOURRY OUT on 13:46 - Mar 9 by Markofthegrove

Well, here we are again. Was it a year ago I posted the Nourry out post and got some pelters from some on here? Maybe a bit longer.

In regard to all of those roles that people are doing at the club: they are just fancy names. Jon De Souza is just the head of coaches, for example. It's all jazzed up to sound like the manchild knows what he is doing. It's important to know that, as if there were a big change at the club, their roles would be rebranded to something resembling football norms.

JS going would not change anything. Most would agree on this, purely because we don't know how much control over things he genuinely has and he has been armstrung by injuries.

The biggest concerns for me are away from the pitch, at LR, the working staff at this football club. No HR at Loftus Road but they have a 'people person' at Heston. Things like this have created an us vs them dynamic. Again down to poor leadership.

Something interesting to note, Steve Gallen was at the game yesterday, 2 years to the day he was appointed DOF at Millwall. We interviewed him; we told him to go on holiday, and then Christian Nourry decided he could do the job, and Lee Hoos aided and abetted it.

Lastly, it hurts how apathetic our fans have become. There should be protests and banners at the ground. But we just aren't organised as a fan base. QPR 1st used to have teeth; now they are a completely powderpuff org. Different people are protecting self-interests. Although, putting yourself front and center as the face of fan dissent is also a fool's errand, as you would just get dogs' abuse.

When you strip the whole thing back though and you tell yourself this simple fact 'QPR appointed a 27 year old with no experience as a CEO and no experience as a DOF and a cycling coach to run all the key areas of the football club'......you realise how insane it all is.

Every new detail about the Steve Gallen non-hire is damning. The guy who presided over that should be first out.

Agree with all your points except for the fans being apathetic. It's not 1987 anymore, the only time you will get fans physically mobilising is for an existential crisis, such as administration. And I think that's right. Bad appointments, playing issues, losing runs - not worth marching or banging the doors about, it lessens the impact should something that threatens the club's existence needs protesting.

The fanbase is pretty split anyway, mostly on age demographics. I don't think LFW is a fair reflection of the youth up in Q or R blocks really.

But the sight of the ground emptying on 82 minutes twice in a week (Christian, how about opening that nightclub for fans to stay and dance the night away under The Loft?!) will spell out a similar message loudly enough.

As will threads like these and some of the posts I've seen on X. Probably more potent and targeted than 50 people standing outside chanting about the CEO or some cringe banner.

Absolutely spot on !

As I said previously, CN could start by getting rid of his mate . But that ain’t going to happen .

So much wrong behind the scenes it’s beyond belief.
A basic red flag from a year or so ago was Ilias on a podcast being asked if he enjoyed the lunch time kick offs for Sky . He said “no not really because you have to go in and eat pasta at 9am”

Pasta!! Before a game ????
Pasta perhaps the day before or after a game ..but as a pre match meal ?! It just sits in the stomach and is slow to digest . Basic basic basic sh*t!!

Get rid of these people .
Absolute charlatans
[Post edited 9 Mar 7:58]

Why do you think pasta is slow to digest? Refined carbs are generally among the faster digested foods, within one to four hours, so a 9am meal for a 12:30 kick off sounds about right. Fats take longest, followed by protein.

What do you think players should be eating before a game, and why?

As mark said whats has happeend was always liekly to happen as soon as nourry was given the role , although have to admit the levels he has made us sink to have even supprised me .
soonas he got rid of marti he was always going to appot a YES man to protect his project , he upsold him massively as he was the only coach we watned which was proven to be garbage not long ago after a odcast by the previous norwich manager , that chat prob happened around the burnley game , marti was still in charge then .

williams being allowed to zet up zoom appts from duabai should have set off alarm bells for more people his coming back and being given even more power pretty much confirmed how the future would be .

its weel known hoos wanted out and saw the first person to give him that as the answer but as it seems once again hoos is saying things he prob shoudlnt hes once again turned tail and gone the other way protecting his arse once again ,

issue is nourry has now spent the money we had , The eze money , and prob a few quid found down the back of the highchair , the project so far hasnt worked his his value sales are becoming cheaper after every defeat the Baller kids coming through that will set the leaague alight prob dont even know how to use a lighter the fear for the future is way way higher than its been for ages as how many last chance saloons do we need to be in before we fecuk up for the final time ?

weve bombed Cook out
Field rightly wanted to play football and what a supprise hes made his present/
team better ,
Chair has gone on a national lampoons european road trip looking for the answer to his 2 year injury spell
Nardi not fancied but best of a bad bunch

ben anyone seen my cycle clips williams , ??? no point repaeting what many others have said about this joker

and all of this is being implemented by a guy whos got less experince in life let alone football than the average emo who has lived in his mums basement for the last 20 years eating pop tarts.

never thought id say it but give me richard thmpson anyday over this lot

I saw a cracking photo on Twitter of a footballer chucking up on the pitch after one of those "energy" gels didn't want to stay in his body.

Have you ever drunk/eaten some of that garbage?

From watching some of the Ben Foster videos the plain pasta pre match seems pretty standard fayre, and he was moaning about eating a dinner in the morning as well

QPR's last month across the first team and Dev Squad, Reserves in old money...

First team results:

Won once (1-3)
Lost four (1-3, 5-0, 0-2, 0-4)

Dev Squad results:

Watford 5 QPR 0
WBA 1 QPR 0
QPR 1 Cardiff 0
Bristol City 2 QPR 0
Swansea 3 QPR 1

So, across the two groups: P10 W2 L8 F6 A25

If I was the major shareholder, I'd be calling a meeting with each of my "performance" employees to find out how they explain these performances, ie these people the club list as full time staff:

Physical performance coach
Performance scientist
Head of Analysis
Operation Analyst
Performance Therapist
Recruitment Analyst
Head of Recruitment
Director of Sporting Operations
Performance Physiotherapist x 2
Analyst
Head of Goalkeeping
Performance Therapist
Head of Methodology
Nutritionist
Performance logistics & Player Care Lead
Individual Development Coach
Head of Performance Services (ooh la la!)
Head of Integrated Services

Head of Defensive Coaching
Head Coach
First Team Coach

+
Methodology Lead U17- U21
Academy Methodology Manager
Player Pathways Manager

Then, I'd call in the CEO and Chairman to explain why this current set-up is better than that of Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey's of five years ago, which achieved better outcomes with significantly fewer staff members.

Then I'd probably commission a staffing and performance audit, ironically.

Because I reckon Nourry has probably learnt enough on a steep enough curve to make better future decisions, but he needs to have his workload halved and redefined as answerable to a genuine CEO, both of whom communicate regularly with fans as LF/LH used to, even in the toughest moments. At the moment, it's insulting and contemptible.

That list of performance staff is incredibly long!

It reminds of something I used to hear people say when I worked in software development: If you throw too many people at a project you end up subdividing the work and responsibilities so much that the extra heads actually become counterproductive. The sheer number of inputs makes progress difficult.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Yeah fair play Kensal , I just looked into this and you are correct and I’m not to stubborn to admit I was talking rubbish .
Lesson learned not to just go off on one when we are in poor form, but I probably will do again. Probably in about 48 hours.
As I’ve said before I talk a lot through experience but that ‘experience’ is 30 years ago and football has moved on . Pasta does indeed sound like standard food for pre match 3 to 4 hours before kick off. It was an absolute no no when I played and completely unacceptable . It’s does also say that on a couple of sites that it depends on the individual.
But I stand corrected. Hands up .

However , no mention of some of the other things I know they are made to eat as part of their diet and pre match prep, even though some players have requested they don’t have them as they are ‘not healthy’.

Hoos is a cancer on our club. ALL of this shyte flows down from him starting with his manchild, Nourry. He’s been running the club for 10 years and achieved Sweet FA but still is still in a very well paid job. What other club would allow it?

As I work in recruitment , and come across cvs as part of it , to this day I’ve no idea how his cv was looked at even somebody verbally upselling him would struggle to get more than five mins worth of good stuff on him . So how did he even be considered for this and the numerous other jobs hes now doing ? It made zero sense then and even less sense now ,Beale hoodwinked us but nourry has gone up a level with conning the owners .

Hoos really ought to be made to explain the process to the owners and then the fans because I can’t work it out in any logical way . It’s like an educated Scott jones got the job and if anyone remembers him he said had every job u see the sun during his varied life.

Hoos was the adult in the room for years though. I've no idea what he really thinks about the club and its fans now or his bosses , but if he feels he's got carte blanche these days, then its because our owners are not on his case , as they should be.
It all boils back to our owners. Hoos will retire a very rich man probably.
