A most disappointing signing - looks crocked, starts a game - looks anonymous and sits down injured after half an hour. Been the same since he went off against Preston in the first game of the season. Even last night before his latest injury looked out of sorts and not up for it. We have far too many similar players like Poku, Dembele and Saito who are not cutting it at this level.
I think you will find the 90% availability is across all levels including the women, not just the first team squad. A misleading stat put out by the club.
Sorry I was being cheeky!
Even if you include the tiger cubs and the subetteo team there is no way on gods Earth we have hit 90% availability.
If any of us talked bollox like that at work we'd be fired, much less broadcast on an interview on the web.
That guy is a massive Jake Humphries grade A bullsh1tter
There is no reason in the world to start Poku in back to back games for the deadest of all rubbers. If I'm that player I'm going mental about this in the canteen, in front of everyone
He missed 3 months last season with a hammy so they knew what they were getting.
3 hamstring injuries tells you that on at least one occasion we have brought him back too soon.
But, when you add the hamstrings Burrell, Madsen, and Chair have all suffered from, you have to consider that our Performance function is displaying gross incompetence in how they handle players’ strength and conditioning, not least of their hamstrings.
Poppadom hamstrings, well that's surprising.
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
I know this thread is about Poku, but let's talk about the difference between us and the Swans last night. They were excellent in a high intensity press across the pitch last night everyone closing their man as soon as they received the ball.
We were not.
Despite being in game 44 with nothing to play for, they looked like a very well trained and drilled team.
We did not.
Forget data, forget stats. One team out there looked like a professionally run club, QPR looked like a Sunday League team starting up after a half time fag and a tactical chunder.

Sometimes go with your eyes, Christian...
Absolutely, Dav.
It was apparent within 10 mins.
A number of us were asking whether we could hire the fella that is in charge of their fitness and conditioning?
Our infamous “phased ramp up” so the players are in peak shape by the spring, yet again failing to deliver. Instead our second half of the season has been riddled by injuries, and the players still don’t look as fit and sprightly as opposition sides.
The club must overhaul that function this summer. It is critical. If we don’t it reeks of nepotism, and putting personal interests over the club.

Once again shown most clearly with the restart after half time - something you would think we know is a problem and should be focused on.
They came out fit, motivated, focused, ready to go, could easily have scored twice by the 50th minute.
How many times have we played and lost the same game this season against a side near or below us in the table who are well organised, committed and pressing high? Got to be at least half a dozen, probably more.

Midfield.
Again last night I'm sitting there pointing at Franco, Fulton and saying look, just fcking look, how much space that bloke is standing in.
It must be terrible for the poor fella to be asked to play two games in succession, anybody would think we’re a professional football club.
Has he actually managed a full 90 minutes yet?
I feel for him but he’s yet another winger we can add to the scrap heap.
The fools who keep signing walking wounded need to get their act together.
Exactly this! ^^
We, the fans can all see that he has had a terrible season for injuries, and we know he has struggled to play full 90' so far. Which makes it even more ludicrous to start him in back to back games after a second return from injury in the same season, in a dead rubber game!
Just rest him, get him super fit for next season and move on. It's almost like the massive performance team want to force the player onto the field to tick a box and say they've done their job.
They are the behind the scenes equivalent of Matthew Rose turning into Pele at the end of his contract. Having Chair, Burrell, Madesen and Poku all back at once is making them look great (apparently). -- Like Trump starting a war, so he can win it...

"get him super fit for next season"
If there's anyone at the club that can achieve that then I've got two loaves of medium cut Mothers Pride and half a tin of John West tuna and 5,000 people to feed.
Sadly KP has got the deal he wanted, Posh got the deal they wanted and good old Queens Park Rangers are yet again left with a three wheeled wagon.
Place that at the door of one wet behind the ears CEO
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Games we have lost at home to 'similar' teams to us this season
Millwall - 1-2 Saints 1-2 (they were in the bottom 3 at the time) Norwich 1-2 (also were useless at the time) Wrexham 2-3 Blackburn 1-3 Swansea 1-2
The Millwall, Saints, Norwich and Swansea games were all carbon copies of each other. Well beaten and 2-0 down before a late goal shows what we could've achieved had we gone with the correct intensity
