It was the only time he couldn't give me a proper answer to my question (well, that and Dillon Barnes). He just kept filing in behind the word "unprecedented" when I was saying "I get it was a once in a lifetime thing, but further lockdowns may occur, what will we do different next time?" and he wouldn't play ball, presumably for fear of admitting they'd got something wrong the previous occasion.

I do wonder if the club just said to the players the season wont restart so just have an extended break and then shit themselves when it started up again as they were completely under prepared
