If he is likely to be constantly unavailable the club must be seeking out other centre forwards because love his attitude but i dont think Alfie Lloyd is good enough for the championship and whatever is going on with Kolli lets sort it out both ways as he is an extremely good option covering Kone and Burrell.
Maybe we are hardly considering playing two up top this season, but if we only emd up with two championship centre forwards, once more , we are looking too bare in this area, even considering the qualities of Kone and Burrell.
As we know, injuries happen.

He wasnt injured when we signed him but allegedly picked up an injury in a training session that kept him out for the season.
I don't buy that and i think I can ascertain the reasons and dont need to state this but i just dont get why the club would lie about it or to cover ourselves on here, be economical with the truth.
It creates bad vibes towards the fans
Joking though if i got offered a two year contract on a few grand a week, that would be paid up even if i didnt show up to work at all, I would call in sick every day but then I would hope the club would have assessed my likelihood of playing before signing on the dotted line !!
You do need to be very mentally resilient to be a modern day footballer and we seem to have a total blind spot on this one regards some of our recruitment. Sadly a few of our transfers suffer with this type of issue, but I think if we checked out all aspects of a character as much as we can, we would not keep making these mistakes in every window. The club said he aggravated an injury in his brief cameo appearance. One of the other posters on here said it was said to be a few months out. Am not sure on that but picking up an injury however bad or not, in a very brief cameo appearance in a pre season friendly, does not bode well.
I personally thinking between the lines am a bit dubious about what the club puts out, because they have told the odd white lie previously before and dont trust all that they tell us. | |

It's QPR. Going back decades, we have a gold standard track record of buying crocks who either break down within seconds of their debuts or never even get that far. (Only yesterday on here there was discussion of Kieron Dyer and Richard Ord.)
And our fitness record over the last couple of years is, of course, nothing short of remarkable. So why would this one be anything other than actual endless injuries, which may or may not have been brilliantly handled by our much talked-about medical team?

The club put out a statement saying he wasnt fit for last friendly due to picking up another injury in a very small cameo appearance where he hardly got out of third gear. Dont see how you can pick up an injury so quickly again, especially when its just a very brief training run out.
I hope its nothing but January to July no appearances is a concern i would suggest whatever the reason for not being able to play, its not a good situation for us or him.
Fingers crossed its nothing then.
I think though fans have a right to ask questions. He was brought in to cover an injured player and he has been injured ever since arriving.

Sounds like he could be another sick note player.
If Kolli is also injured or just not wanted, then QPR really do need to buy another striker or at the very least one on loan. They cannot just rely on Kone and Burrell with Lloyd and Bennie as options because neither of them are good enough. | | | |

The club is really letting itself down over this injury issue. I can understand that there might be a competitive advantage if a player is touch and go for the next match.
