The forum seems very clogged up these days. To find something QPR related amongst the music, politics, nostalgia and general griping is getting more difficult. It isn’t surprising that topics get repeated as there are so many threads.
Other fan sites split own team (QPR) matters, Football topics and other general threads . Have we reached the point where that should happen here.
I appreciate the irony in a thread about too many threads.

It’s just pre season and there’s little QPR related stuff to talk about. When the season kicks off in a few weeks it will soon settle down again.

I don’t think these forums can be split tbh, and I hate using forums like that anyway. You always end up with one forum naturally busier and then posters get arsy when you move their thread to the other bit of it.

It’s off season, and most of the posters have been around so long we’ve done most QPR topics to death. It’ll all ramp up in a couple of weeks.

I ignore the political stuff, I don’t want to argue about politics with my fellow R’s, but the TV, film, music and (having very recently asked for and gratefully received some tips about Cork) the travel stuff is great.

I’d much prefer it all to be kept in the same bucket, too.

My only complaint about this site is it’s too bloody addictive.

I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers.

Its my only QPR outlet now as I ditched X. It must be 26 seasons at least on here

I'm now officially old!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

To be honest, given how challenging the world is these days, shirley this is not an issue Rfosi need to get their boxers snarled up over. Our focus and energies must be on what we all need to do to secure 14th place....or maybe....wait for it...even higher!!!

I think it is fine as it is.

The music stuff is great and easy enough to find. Holiday stuff, DIY stuff all very helpful.

QPR stuff is $hit though

I like the weird and wonderful nature of this forum, it’s what makes it interesting.

And full of people who can construct sentences and paragraphs in words of more than one syllable. I’ve had a glimpse of some other sites and this site is a cultural oasis by comparison.

Easiest thing if you're not interested in a thread is just to hide it.

It'll revert to type when the season gets under way. We are currently in the “dog days” of the year.
We've had a thread or two regarding these days.

I think, although I'm probably wrong, that part of the reason dotorg slowly died was splitting the forum into different sections. It didn't work as there wasn't enough users to sustain multiple forums.

Seeing as you worked for the same company as me when we were posting on rivals I would say 28 years as a minimum, I’m 60 next year so would have officially spent half my life as Loftboy, now that is worrying,

Ironically, the op would have to go in the 'others' forum.
Can't believe he's clogging the forum up with this old shite when I just want to read about football....

Yes agreed, just hide the thread.

P.s. I think that I must have accientally hidden the thread that announced that Obikwu is fully fit and available to start the new season.
