Apparently the earliest hatrick in QPRs history. (Tony Incenzo)

Yeah a proper performance fitness wise too. Kemper hobbled off, hopefully just tires legs, but other than that no disasters and we were able to make good subs to improve us rather than fighting fires.

He had a shaky start but grew into the game. A microcosm of last season where he looked very ropey at first but improved hugely. Understandable given his lack of minutes this season and hopefully he'll be at his best from now on.

End up behind Brum on (AFAICT) alphabetical order!

Now I can’t help wondering if Jack10 was there today. Couldn’t find his thread but I do hope he was or he might never go again! YOU R’s!
| I need a SAGA. What’s the SAGA? It’s ….. Queen’s Park Rangers. |

| swansea at home....match thread.. on 17:14 - Oct 24 with 1647 views | Superhoops2808 | Glad I nailed my colours to the mast early doors. In the minority that we would win today, but I think Swansea are on the way off their wave and back down the table. Wish our fans were more positive and realised that the squad from top to bottom are solid and more together than previously. Yes we are missing key players but the ones that are still fit are no slouches Kone & Smyth an awesome combo up front and really enjoyable to watch - And Kone constantly getting himself in a position to score. Hopefully this will really boost his confidence, because I really think he relies on confidence | | | |

Great to see Kone back amongst the goals. Special mention of JS, a masterstroke putting Smyth up top next to Kone. His pace killed them in the first 20 minutes. Superb.

Well...he did give ball up three times deep in his own half early in the game. First, they hit the bar with. That would have made it 1-1 and game then entirely different. He, as we tend to say, 'grew into the game' and was a vital part of the overall team performance, but MOTM? Nah.

| swansea at home....match thread.. on 17:40 - Oct 24 with 1112 views | Wegerles_Stairs | That was crazy. It proves what we know about Kone - he is at his best in the middle on the end of decent service from the wings! | | | |
| swansea at home....match thread.. on 17:44 - Oct 24 with 1020 views | ArvoSturm | Really pleased for Kone on a human level. He clearly has been going through a difficult time and has had to endure a lot of unnecessarily cruel criticism. I don’t like it directed at any of our players. | | | |
| swansea at home....match thread.. on 17:48 - Oct 24 with 945 views | VancouverHoop | The difference between Koné today and Koné on every other occasion we've seen him this season is night and day. It's almost eerie. He even looks like a different person. | | | |

Smyth player of season to date? Not as lauded as the likes of Rolls Royce Ronnie or Prince Charles and in a way it doesn’t even matter as it’s a team game, but tieless running as usual and nowadays with an end product. He doesn’t get an assist for “winning” the penalty but he effectively made us two goals today. At the start of the season probably well behind a number of our diminutive wingers in the ideal 1st 11 of most Rangers fans. But at Rangers we don’t get to see those first 11s, so being a) always available and b) chalking up all these goal contributions he has grown indispensable.
