This is going back a long time, and folk might not remember this, but I remember at the end of the 99/00 season they announced the kit for 00/01 in the matchday programme in one of the final home games of the season.
A printing error though made it appear as though the hoops were blue and sky blue, rather than blue and white, and everyone lost their sh*t over it a bit. And that was pre modern day internet, could you imagine Twitter now if that happened?  |  | | |

The shirt will/won't be an homage to the shirt worn by the team which got to our only FA Cup final 40 seasons ago.
Red trim above and below the blue hoops would be tasteful/unnecessary/an improvement.

This year's QPR collection is a fusion of neo-Soviet inspired brutalism and high-end Belgian erotica, with just a hint of Djibouitan chic.
