I was reading a report on the game, and saw one time 'next best thing' Patrick Roberts was playing. Leaving a smaller team where you've got a chance of establishing yourself in the first team for a big prem team doesn't seem to have worked yet for him and Clark. |  |

Clarke has obviously got talent but here he was embarrassingly out of his depth, off the pace, lacked confidence and was a passenger on the pitch. I put it down to a combination of bad timing and his confidence at rock bottom. Allegedly, in an effort to make him feel more at home the squad tended to tease him off the pitch and it seemed to add to his lack of confidence rather than raising it. |  |

Being at Leeds and Spurs, could have done more but was too slight to impose himself.

Was good yesterday and created the equaliser, but that level was really bad. Many times during the game players were doing head tennis for several mins before bringing the ball under control.
They showed why Dickie, Barbet, Dunne are way better players and that's not even our playmakers. No wonder Clarke looked good.
But a better comparison would be someone like Bowler, he's way better than Clarke and proved it this season. |  |
