We can go a significant way to staying up with six points this week. No point putting in that performance yesterday if we revert to type on Saturday. Need to play with the same intensity from the start and go 2-0 up for a change.

Agree fully and we need not to do what we did after the Watford game, that is another Blackpool. We also need a bit of luck, an opposition that will play like sh*te, a referee that will not sh*te all over us and, well, anything else that can go our way. Anyone got a rabbit's foot?

Certainly yesterday was a whole lot better from the time we chose to settle down and play, that being after their second goal, but West Brom were poor yesterday as well and we need to take advantage of that and, in part, we did that yesterday. Onwards to Saturday.

Coventry will be extremely tough, they are well managed and have a habit of turning round goal deficits during a game.
They're bloke up front Gyökeres Is a beast.

Interesting that we do not feature in the schedule of any of those six clubs, DMM.

yep, indeed kernow. I'm inclined to think that's a good thing - six pointers and all that. Could be wrong though.

Mark Robbins is an excellent manager... Always improves the clubs he manages.

Whilst it's always ridiculous to look too far ahead and make predictions, you do have to think our fixtures are kind.
5 games left, 3 at home with one of the away games against a mid table team (hopefully) on the beach.

Rotherham's 3 home games being against 3 of the top 4 is interesting. As with Reading playing 1st and 3rd in their 3 home games.

It feels as though it sort of comes down to the next 2 games for us. Anything more than 3 points and we are almost there as hopefully Reading's decline is terminal.

Just want this season over already tbf

Interesting that Huddersfield play Reading on the last day. If we can somehow get ourselves above them both by that time, we'll be able to relax (assuming that Blackpool & Wigan don't close the gap)!

Come on, we've let Reading off this hook once before, let's bury them this time. Please. Please. So I don't have to go there. Please.

What strikes me there is that Huddersfield may actually be able to do us a favour there. If we believe they are going to pull themselves safe then the very least our old mucker Warnock could do is beat Reading and Cardiff on the way to safety.,

They did lose 4-0 at home to Stoke though the other day, so the old demon Hope is flirting her eyes at us yet again...

Glad there's a bit of op[timism on here again, but I look at our fixtures and suspect we'll get a couple of points at best out of those 5 games. Cov will beat us with someting to spare (likely by 3 goals imo), Norwich should beat us, Burnley will hammer us, Stoke will beat us as they're just too tough for our lot, which leaves Bristol and Nakhi Wells on the last day. We can all see what'll happen there from a mile off.
Anyone who thinks there's much hope out of that lot hasn't been watching this season.

Bare bones.

Also if Burnley win their next two games they're champions, so hopefully fully on the beach when we go there

Reading should get bummed in the gob too, new manager bounce aside.

That and the performance yesterday are my go to life rafts.

Yep I am equally concerned that WBA might be a death rattle.

No London teams to do us a favour, Bristol on the beach and a little bit Southern, so there’s hope there. A lot will rest on Stoke who, to be fair, have done us a massive favour in the past but there’s no Crouchie to duck under the ball for us these days.

I had thrown in the towel at 2-0 down and would be bankrupt if there was a swearbox in my house but the performance from that point on has really buoyed me. The two home games this week are massive - yes, they're both decent sides but no more than that. Hopefully a full house on Saturday and everyone behind the team - I want Les gone as much as anyone but all that can wait till we're safe.

Interesting that our relegation rivals play each other so something has to give. However, this is tempered by the possibility that Wigan could well be down by the time they face Reading and Rotherham. Uncle Neil could well be doing us a favour. Our next 2 home games are key.

Of the remaining 5 we have left, Burnley very obviously is the only one you see as a guaranteed defeat.

They may be top half, but Coventry and Norwich are, on paper at least, beatable, as are Bristol City.

Win those three home games and we stay up regardless of everyone else. Even Stoke away will be a winnable/drawable game.

If we don't do that then we simply get what we deserve.

I reckon we need 5 more points.
48 and safe by my calcs.
Question is - where are they coming from????
