I wonder if we should enjoy him while we can. IF, he stays fit and shows the form he has so far up until January I’d be amazed if Premier League clubs don’t come in for him. Even though he’s been here only a matter of weeks he could potentially be the first to leave for a very healthy profit.
We have cover, once Kemper returns, at both left and right back so selling him wouldn’t need a search for a replacement.

Which is probably why he’s with us. He’s going to stand out in the Champ and we’ve probably promised to fold him up in bubble wrap. It’s a bit like when Erickson went to Brentford to prove his fitness before ending up at Man U. Except we’d hopefully get some cash if it does work out for him. |  | | |

If Lamps and Cirks work out, then it's likely our medico-rehab operation has finally got its act together. Equally, it's as clear as day, that our fitness and speed have improved significantly.
What this may also do, is give us a really strong hand the next time we start talking to a Lamps about coming to QPR because of our proven ability to get a player back on track. As it may well entice the bigger boys to entrust their starlets to us, because we can look after them!

Reminds me of watching Karl Walker play for us, he just seemed like a different level of player, a different _species_ of player!
I'd assumed that we've got him on the basis that he can play his way back to fitness but we don't have any hold of him, so perhaps a one year contract or something? From the club's perspective it would make sense too, in case he never did get back to fitness. Although I assumed all this when we were talking about him maybe surfacing by Xmas - didn't expect him to be playing regularly in September! |  | | |

The key is to keep him fit. Somehow he must have also been assured by our fitness team under Williams that lessons have been learned here regards injuries and how we keep people available.
If improvements are coming with regards this, then that would be amazing.
Having quality fullbacks has been out of reach for many seasons and now even Adamson also seems massively improved too. |  |

Yeah you’re probably right. But it’s great all round for us anyway if we can keep him fit. He’d be a fun eventual member of Forever R/s one day and it may help us attract other similar players working their way back to fitness. He's absolutely a class act, but I'm not getting carried away yet, his injury woes worry me. I've been hugely impressed with his attitude though, he really doesn't seem to be feeling his way back to fitness.
I have the same reservations about Glen Kamara, but I think that he's just what the doctor ordered. Lots of praise for how lamptey dealt with Blackburns right back, but he got the back up from Kamara that Cirkin hadn't had in the first half. He puts out fires and moves the ball efficiently and quickly. He totally gets his role and has the tools to accomplish it.
At the moment, and fingers crossed, it looks like we've had a great transfer window, albeit I wonder a bit about the wage bill. But then, I decided a while ago to fck the politics of it all off and just enjoy the show. | |

With his injury woes and ability, in many ways a one year contract works for both parties. It'd be nice if we had an option, but I imagine he had options.

He looks the absolute nuts. Was the best player on the pitch at Blackburn and probably the other night too. Was most happy for him though when he got a proper whack off Tanner which arguably deserved a red card and just got up and dusted himself off. If he turned down better offers, having made plenty of money, maybe we’ve got a chance of hanging onto him for a bit. On the other hand, that wouldn’t give him any security if he breaks down again. It might be that the contract is longer we’ve just built in a reasonable release clause. Maybe a two year with an option on our side to extend but with a release clause in the meantime. That feels like a more balanced option where both parties potentially benefit without the other losing out too much. Pure speculation though [Post edited 5 Sep 8:30]

Even if that was the case it’d be a choker but couldn’t blame the club and would still have been a coup.
Really looking forward to seeing him fully fit and composed in that right back hearth where he does his best work.
It’s very early days but I’ll confess to being amazed.
