On the one had I'm looking forward to a night game and some beers with a mate.

On the other, as I wrote on the Grantham Hall thread, I already feel depressed at the thought of Hall being out and Konch starting.

Hoping, though, we get Hoillet/Phillips/BFG/Chery starting at the other end to try to score a couple to make up for those that the makeshift back 4 will certainly concede.

4-2 Derby. Including three pens conceded by Konch.

Not sure about that at all. Angella has been playing pretty well of late, so it would be unfair to drop him. Given that Perch seems to be a world beater at LB and an uninspiring RB, combined with Konchesky being generally appalling, I'd play Sir Clinton next to Angella with Ned at RB and Perch at LB.

I would go with 3 at the back Onuoha, Hall and Perch then we could have Washington and Poulter up front with Cherry behind them and hopefully Faurlin and Henry as defensive midfield. Not sure whether Phillips and Hoilett/El Khayatti would be very effective as wing backs though.

I could see that team getting slaughtered. Derby's wingers and attacking full backs would slaughter us down the outside, as Phillips trots around doing not very much defending at all. Go back to what we played at Birmingham and try and force Derby to play it long, with Polts just haring about the place causing mayhem, pressuring the CBs.
