Well obviously not because you’re opening a thread about an opposition player and commenting. Robinson reacted so passionately to the equaliser because someone said something to him from the Paddocks. It was not needed and it’s not the first time he has behaved that way towards us. He can behave how he wants and he can also be called out for it. Massive bell end.
| Jack Robinson on 00:18 - Jan 3 with 5191 views | Hunterhoop | Deserves to get laid out. Simple as that. Bloke has it coming. He’s not the big boy he thinks. It’ll happen to him in his career before it’s over. | | | |
| Jack Robinson on 02:21 - Jan 3 with 4990 views | numptydumpty | He doing something right for his new club and if he was playing for us and he had done that, we would have had no issues with him reacting like that to last minute equaliser. He is not our player so not worth our anger. So what !!! | |

I wouldn't expect a QPR player playing against his old club to be swearing at the home end of his old club and giving it large because they secured a draw. This is why we don't like him, given the club were only ever good to him despite the fact he was injured for most of his time here. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/12/21/robinson-says-forest-can-blow-qpr-out-of-w Okay it's a bit of pantomime boing, sure, but if anyone needs to be booed it's him. Booing Luke Freeman the other day when he came on for Luton was out of order though. He's never been anything more than a model professional for us (I remember him trying to play with one leg one match when he was injured and we'd used all our subs) and I can't remember him being out of order against us.

I seem to remember that we were all happy when Martin Rowlands celebrated wildly against Brentford! I didn't notice Adel hanging back after scoring against Tottenham either. I'm with Gazza on this one. Once they've left the club (with one or two exceptions) I don't notice them on the pitch.

I think the difference here is that the club put him back together over 14+ months, helped him through the injuries, helped him through depression and put his career back on path. He stepped straight back into the line up and then couldn't wait to leave to go somewhere 'better'. He then seems to take great delight in rubbing it in whenever he can. Sorry, I don't say this much, but he is a complete cock!

This. And also I imagine the Brentford fans weren't very happy about it and we're entitled to not be either.

Last week I and a few others cheered and clapped Freeman when he started warming up in front of us in the East Paddock. He obviously appreciated it and gave us a smile. He was fantastic for us and always gave 100%. Such players should be appreciated after they leave but Robinson was the complete opposite and deserved abuse. He always felt he was bigger than the club despite giving little return on all the money we invested in him. Perhaps if we clearly differentiated in our responses to former players based on how they played for us (particularly effort and commitment) and whether they acted with class on leaving it would give a clearer message to dicks such as Robinson. So in the future I'd suggest we think twice before booing former players such as Freeman when they return to Loftus Rd for opposition teams. He certainly didn't deserve it.
| Jack Robinson on 13:45 - Jan 3 with 3736 views | NW5Hoop | There was one arsehole in the paddocks who was approaching Robinson whenever he was near the touchline and giving him pelters. That one fan wound up the whole Sheff U bench so much that several players and coaches were also screaming at the paddocks. I don't blame Robinson at all tbh. Don't like him, but if someone is screaming abuse to you from a foot away, you might well react. Also: he owed us no loyalty. We kept him on not out of kindheartedness and to help him get better, but because we had an interest in him getting better. If no one had thought he was a first-teamer, the club would have got rid at the earliest chance. Clubs don't show loyalty to players, careers are short. It's his life, not ours. It's his job, not a sentimental attachment. | | | |
| Jack Robinson on 14:09 - Jan 3 with 3625 views | gazza1 | I don't know what has made Robinson such a bad man tbh.......he left the club, his contract expired and he was offered an extra, perhaps, another £10k per week to sign for another football club. I know what I would do and I would suggest most others would take 'that' contract. Footballers are not supporters, they are a working employee of the club trying to earn a decent living and enjoy themselves. I never saw or heard any stuff whereby he was 'slagging' QPR. He then gets complete abuse from so called QPR supporters, scouse arsehole, wxxkxxrx, bertie big bolox and so on (read this thread), none whom have never spoken to him, know him in any way and then his emotions (which they should not)get the better of him when his new Team scores a late and deserved equaliser and he retaliates - fair play to him, the fxking prick!!!!! | | | |

I agree about Freeman. I was annoyed to hear the boos. Sure he left us, but we got £5m for him and he did his best whilst playing for QPR, even as you say when carrying an injury. The win against Leeds in his final season had much to do with his outstanding performance. What short memories some fans have.

TV pictures showed some loudmouth screaming at him in the paddocks as he took a throw. Cringeworthy stuff from a grown adult. I'd almost forgotten he played for us. What use is all this hatred? Surely all it can engender is even more determination in a player? It's thick.

Happens all the time at football. Players getting pelters. You might think the fans are thick but that makes Jack Robinson even thicker for reacting the way he did. He's a bellend. A rich bellend . Courtesy of Queens Park Rangers. Why should our fans let him swan around our gaff unprovoked. He was probably still pissed off we nicked his towel last game of the season and threw it around R Block. !. Lol

Great that people think screaming hatred into someone's face is completely normal behaviour and absolutely to be expected if you've had the temerity to change jobs. I'm not against booing. I'm not against atmosphere. I love it when games get some needle and you can feel it in the air. But I don't think screaming abuse in people's faces is normal or even acceptable behaviour. That's different from the pantomime of a whole crowd.
