The only thing I find more bizarre than people claiming to be ‘ITK’ as some sort of badge of honour is those people that get so irate about the people that do it. Proper vitriol sometimes. Like they’ve just fingered a kitten.
You do know these people crave attention and that’s likely the sole purpose of their claims? Why on earth would you get all irate and give them the attention they’re craving? It’s not very good parenting.
Same goes for Joey Barton. It is SO clear and obvious to me that when he left Bristol Rovers he sat down with an agent and a publicist, who told him he was never getting better than a League 2 managers job and the next best and most lucrative action was probably to turn into some sort of right wing polarising nut case. A sport based Piers Morgan. And what happens? He’s everywhere. On everything. My non-QPR mates were chatting about him in the pub last week. Proper debating it. There are 10 pages about him on here? Why? Just ignore him. He’s just a naughty boy after attention and money. The worst thing you could do is talk about the nonsense he says. You’re falling into the trap.

Travelling home from work and getting on the overground from Shepherds Bush into Clapham, I found myself a couple of seats down from Phil Beard, who was clearly having a conversation with Kia Joorabchian.
He was spilling a few things, but confirmed we were signing Nedum and also that we were good for Taiwo too. Cue a very quick search of Taiwo's on google to conclude it was Taye, I told my mate, who put it on the message boards. Didn't feel it was right at the time to mention that this had come from Beard talking about it at normal volume on an overground train, he was still employed. But just goes to show what a shit show we were.

I suppose all this ITK rumour spreading passes the time of day, but with reference to the Dunne thread there is so much that is totally obvious to even a casual observer that there is no need to confirm via mysterious club sources. And here’s the thing, to what extent can one trust the accuracy of any info unless it is, as it were, straight from the horse’s mouth? And even then, how do we know they are telling the truth ( which can change anyway).
I prefer to go on the evidence of my own eyes. Whilst it would be crazy not to prepare for League One given our position at the moment, that’s a long way from throwing in the towel. What I have seen on the pitch recently shows belief is still there. Come on U R’s! | | | |

Yeah I don’t see how anything in the Dunne thread would come as a surprise to anyone who’s been paying attention.
The club is right on the edge with ffp so don’t be surprised if they’re moving players on this month to try and reduce costs without many/any incomings.
It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes (or an ‘ITK’) to work this one out so a bit strange to see people having a dig at someone suggesting they’ve heard this is the case. It might be wrong but it’s not exactly farfetched.

I got absolutely hammered on dot.org as I'd been in the club shop the morning before the briatore/ Smurf/ Caliendo (sp?) deal was announced. Paladini came in, pushed in front of me and asked for shirts to be printed up with names on the back whilst telling me the announcement was imminent.
